When we first announced our special partnership with Marie Kondo on an exclusive new collection of beautiful and sustainably-sourced organization products, one of the most excited groups turned out to be our Brand Ambassadors! They couldn't wait to try out these great new solutions in their own spaces and, once they were done, they were kind enough to share the results with us. Check out some of them below!

Interior designer Marie Luciano of Blossoming Interiors recently took on the "well overdue" task of re-organizing her husband Greg's closet, and she felt that Marie Kondo's new products would be the perfect solution. "The Container Store x KonMari Collection unites the storage and organization mastery of The Container Store with the tidy and joyful ethos of Marie Kondo," she says. "I love everything she designed for the bamboo closet collection." Starting from the ground up (literally), she added a Stacking Slatted Wood Shoe Shelf for his shoe boxes, and then changed out his current plastic hangers for the beautiful Bamboo Non-Slip Hangers. To organize the top shelf, she added a couple of Shoji Bamboo Bins. "After organizing it all, I showed him the closet and he was blown away," she says proudly.

In addition to the Stacking Slatted Wood Shoe Shelf and Shoji Bamboo Bins, professional organizer Anabely Lopes (Personal Organizer Miami) implemented Marie Kondo's 2-Drawer Linen Jewelry Box into her client's closet. The jewelry box's interior includes 29 small sections in its top drawer--perfect for rings, earrings, cufflinks, and charms. The bottom drawer contains another eight compartments--ideal for bracelets, watches, hoop earrings, etc. And a bonus sliding half-tray has another four compartments, and its removable for easy access. So versatile!
Our Southern Home

Because Christy Little of Our Southern Home has a small desk area in her mudroom, she decided to organize it using Marie Kondo's Ori Rattan Collection. Hand-woven from sustainable and strong natural rattan, these products instantly made quite an impression in her workspace. What once was a "dumping ground for junk mail, bills, paperwork, pet supplies...you name it" has now been transformed back into the fully-functional office space it was originally intended to be. After cleaning off the desk surface and giving the cabinets a fresh coat of paint, Christy added the Ori Rattan Pencil Cup, Letter Trays, Desktop Organizer, Photo Boxes, Magazine Files, and Collator. "I haven't sat down to work in this space in several years," she says. "Now, I'm in here everyday at the desk [and] getting so much more accomplished."

Holly Blakely of Breathing Room Organization used the TCS x KonMari products to tackle a different space altogether--the fridge! For this project, she was instantly drawn to our Ceramic Collection--specifically, the Ceramic Fridge Bins, Berry Colanders, Double Bottle Holder, and Egg Bin. "I have fallen in love with the new containers," she raves. "This might possibly be my favorite collection to hit The Container Store. Even the way the Marie Kondo Line is packaged is beautiful--no plastic to be seen." For her, the fact that the products are eco-friendly was a big plus: "That's one of the things I appreciate the most--not only are her designs minimal and stunning, but they're sustainable...Such a perfect balance of form and function." As for how they function, well, her beautifully organized fridge seems to speak for itself!
Hello Francois

Another Brand Ambassador who decided to take on kitchen organization is blogger Francois-Yves Auget-Takada. He, too, loved the sustainable aspect of Marie Kondo's new product line, as well as its design. "The products are high quality, neutral color palette, and the design certainly sparks joy!" he says. One area of the kitchen that Francois turned his attention to was his cutlery drawer. After removing the contents, getting rid of any items he didn't need, and cleaning the inside of the drawer, he measured the space to determine what products he would need. Using a combination of the Narrow 2-Tier Bamboo Flatware Tray and Hikidashi Bamboo Drawer Organizers, he was able to organize this area quickly and easily. "Turns out, it was quite satisfying!" he adds.
