Yes! You can pack 10 days of clothes in one carry-on bag. The key is to pack clothes that all work together, and of course, to use clothing organizers that maximize the space in your bag.
First, you'll want to lay everything out on your bed, so you can see what you are taking. This helps narrow down your choice and ensure that the clothes you select work well together. Start with three to five tops that coordinate with two to three bottoms. Pack the tops and bottoms in a Pack-It Folder.
Then select three dresses and add one to three jackets or light cardigans. This gives you some options for nights out. The jackets not only are great for layering, but they instantly change the look of an outfit. Pack your selections in another Pack-It Folder.
Now for the shoes. This may be the toughest part. Be selective and carefully consider what you will be doing. Keep comfort in mind. You'll want to pack two pairs of shoes so choose ones that work with either pants or dresses. Remember, you'll be wearing a third pair. Pack these in a travel shoe bag.
Next — your jewelry. You don't want to bring a lot. Pick a few statement pieces. Three to seven pieces should do it. Pack them in a travel jewelry case.
Underwear and nighties go in a Pack-It Tube Cube while makeup and toiletries go in your 3-1-1 bag and toiletry organizer. Then slip your curling iron or flat iron in an insulated case. Don't forget to pack chargers and small accessories. These can go in a small zippered pouch.
Now it's time to layer everything into your carry-on. Start with your Pack-It Folders and Toiletry Organizer. Fill in the spaces with the Tube Cube, Shoe Sacs and zippered pouch. Don't forget your curling iron! Place your 3-1-1 bag in the outside pocket. And you're set! You've just packed 10 days of clothes in your carry-on!
