During the holidays, one of the surest and quickest ways to make a mess in your home is with gift wrap. And that's not just after the presents are opened; the whole gift-wrapping process can take up a lot of space and cause an outbreak of clutter if you're not careful. Therefore, it's important to have an organization system in place before you get started.
In order to avoid tripping over rolls of wrapping paper or losing your favorite pair of scissors, we asked our Brand Ambassadors for ideas on how they use Elfa to create small but effective gift wrap organization stations. They came up with some terrific solutions, and you can check them out below.

Lifestyle blogger April Karschner likes the freedom of a mobile storage solution, so she opted for the Elfa Gift Wrap Cart. "[This cart] is the perfect way to create an organized wrapping station," she says. "It helped me wrap my presents in record time!" April uses the Clear Divided Elfa Drawer Trays to help keep track of smaller items (tags, tie-ons, rolls of tape, etc.), while the sides of the cart sport a gift wrap roll organizer and ribbon dispenser.

Professional organizer Libra McGinnis also utilizes the Elfa Gift Wrap Cart, noting that "it also doubles as a wrapping station with its sturdy table top!" The mesh drawers provide Libra with a handy place to store her rolls of ribbon, gift totes, and even small stocking stuffers.

Mother-daughter professional organizing duo Margaret and Stetson Sundin went for a more stationary approach, so they prefer the Elfa Door & Wall Rack. They both enjoy its easy installation process and use the Utility Board and its customizable system of bins to store their bows, ribbons, and gift tags. And with the addition of hanging hooks below, they can instantly pick out the tote they need for a particular gift.

Professional organizer Azure MacCannell took a three-tiered approach and put together an entire gift wrap/crafting closet using the Elfa Door & Wall Rack, an Elfa Drawer Unit, and Elfa Solid Shelves. The Door & Wall Rack keeps in her rolls of gift wrap in place, and the Drawer Unit houses a variety of craft supplies including her Cricut Joy. On the shelves above, neatly-labeled White Plastic Storage Bins hold tissue paper, gift bags, and other supplies.

Professional organizer Ana Oliveira also organized her closet with the help of the Elfa. Because this is a multi-purpose space, Ana uses the Elfa Door & Wall Rack for gift wrap supplies ("I have everything my wrapping needs all year long without sacrificing closet space!" she raves) and uses her existing shelves for a variety of other items. With bedding and linens sorted into labeled Charcoal Nordic Storage Baskets and Farmhouse Open Canvas Storage Bins, Ana will have no trouble finding what she needs.
