The Elfa Door & Wall Rack is one of our most popular Elfa solutions due to its versatility, size, and low price. While not everyone may have the room or budget for a large Elfa shelving or Drawer Unit, most people do have either a door or narrow wall space that could be turned into extra storage space. Whether it's a pantry, bedroom, craft room, or coat closet, there's hardly any space in the home that can't be maximized with an Elfa Door & Wall Rack.

Home experts love them too; not only do many of them recommend the Elfa Door & Wall Rack to their clients, but they also use them in their own homes. Here are some of the clever ways our friends like to put them to use...

Style + Dwell

Ashley and Lindsay of Style + Dwell used the Elfa Door & Wall Rack to set up a pet supply storage area. "We welcomed our newest addition, sweet Pickles the Golden Retriever, in September," Ashley says. "We haven't had a puppy in so long that I obviously forgot how much stuff comes along with one!" She mounted the rack to the wall and attached a Utility Board. She used the Hooks to hang leashes and the Board Boxes and Mesh Baskets to store treats, medicines, and other items. "This space-saving product made organizing all things Pickles quick and easy, and installation was a breeze!" she adds.

Practically Perfect

Joni and Kitt of Practically Perfect used the Elfa Door & Wall Rack to create a convenient "drop zone" in a coat closet. Check out their video for more details.

Home with Keki

Keki Cannon (Home with Keki) also used the Elfa Door & Wall Rack in a coat closet to help maximize the limited closet space in her 100-year old home. "I have a small coat closet by the front door and there is no possibility for a mudroom by the side door," she explains. Luckily, this door rack now gives her family a handy place to hang hats, gloves, umbrellas, and other accessories in preparation for Chicago's long winter. "It is quick and easy access for the kids," says Keki. "They can grab what they need and go, and nothing gets lost."

Kaleidoscope Living

Tasha of Kaleidoscope Living decided to employ a Platinum Elfa Door & Wall Rack in her daughter's room to store small jackets, headbands, jewelry and other accessories. "I'm a big believer in using every bit of vertical storage you can in your home," she advises. "And the quality of this door storage system is incredible. It doesn't shift or move around at all."

Pinch of Help

"When it comes to maximizing space, the door is an often under-utilized commodity," says Brittani Allen, professional organizer at Pinch of Help, who turned her door into a place where her children could grab things they needed on their way to school. "My goal was to create a station that housed commonly misplaced/forgotten items that my kids end up having to run upstairs for at the last minute before catching the bus." By utilizing the Elfa Utility Boards and Mesh Baskets, she created a great storage place for pencils, paper, hair accessories, lunch bags, umbrellas, and more!

Grid and Glam

For Corinne Morahan of Grid and Glam, the Elfa Door & Wall Rack allowed her to help one of her organizing team members upgrade her storage game. "One of our very own team members, Heather, was already utilizing the back of her pantry door to organize her cleaning supplies," she explains. "And while her shoe organizer was doing the trick, it wasn't sturdy enough to hold all of her products. They would sag and fall, so she needed something stronger. Enter the Elfa Door & Wall Rack! Heather was thrilled with its storage capacity and it was super simple to install. Not only is it incredibly sturdy, but it gave her tons more storage space than she had before. And, it looks so much sleeker!"
