Since 2021, Impossible Kicks has been a sneakerhead's dream. The stylish retail chain buys, sells, and trades high-end and rare sneakers, and their fun atmosphere and devotion to great customer service has created a loyal following in the kicks-collecting community. With 17 store locations (and counting!), their reach is expanding to customers all across the country.
When Impossible Kicks recently decided to upgrade the product displays in a number of their store locations, they came to see us. The company's CEO, John Mocadlo, was already a customer of The Container Store, so they decided to visit the store and speak with our design team. They were impressed with Elfa and began working with us on custom-designed shelving units for several of their store locations.

"Elfa was a great choice for us," says John. "It's extremely durable, modular, and was easy for us to install ourselves." The Impossible Kicks team chose white Elfa Décor shelves and we created simple yet versatile shelving solutions perfect for showcasing their sneakers. They were even able to incorporate their own LED lighting into the shelving displays.
The finished product is sleek and looks great. It seamlessly blends in with the existing look and feel of the store, yet highlights their merchandise perfectly.
Impossible Kicks now has Elfa shelving in five of their store locations and is planning to introduce it into even more. "The Container Store staff was so easy to work with," John raves. "The overall execution was so easy, and we're very pleased with how it all turned out."
And John notes that this enthusiasm has even spilled over to their customers as well. "We've had customers ask about the shelving and then go out and purchase it for their own homes!" he adds.
