We all have those spaces in our homes that could use a little help in the organization department. For my family, the biggest problem area was our kids' bathroom, which also doubles as a guest bathroom. With school starting and guests coming for the upcoming holidays, I decided it was time to finally get this space in working order. So I partnered with The Container Store to use some of their fabulous products to organize my space, and share some of quick tips to help you organize the cabinets under the bathroom sink.
Since our kids share the bathroom with any out of town guests, I wanted to have the space under the sink organized and tidy. The ultimate goal was to help anyone find extra supplies quickly and easily.

Tip #1 Donate, Recycle and Sort
First, I cleared out everything from under the sink and donated extra shampoos and soaps to a local charity. Next, I gave the area under the sink a good cleaning. I recycled bulky packaging that was taking up unnecessary space. After I decided which items I wanted to store under the sink, I measured and lined the space before choosing which bins to use.
Tip # 2 Utilize Space on Cabinet Doors
I added a little hook to the back of the cabinet door to hang a toiletry bag. It's nice to have a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream, and razor for out of town guests who may have forgotten a toiletry item. Additionally, my kids use these little toiletry bags when we travel. Now, it's incredibly easy for anyone to find.

Tip # 3 Use Clear Bins to Organize Supplies
iDesign Linus Clear Storage Bins are clear, which makes it easy to keep everything within sight. Supplies are easily forgotten when stored in opaque containers, especially under a bathroom sink. For my bathroom, I used them to hold extra toilet paper.

Tip #4 Use Stackable Bins and Drawers
Who doesn't love a good set of drawers? Drawers not only made the most of my space, they also provided a home for items I removed out of the bulky packaging in order to save more space. I used the Clarity 3-Drawer Stacking Box Clear to corral some of those smaller grab and go items.
iDesign Linus Open Stackable Bins were perfect for hand towels and extra wipes. Placed up front, they made toiletries easier to grab. Since they stack, they also made good use of previously wasted vertical space under sink space. The smaller bin was perfect for storing extra washcloths.

Tip #5 Use a Turntable for Easy Access
The iDesign Linus Divided Lazy Susan might just be my favorite. I used it to store bath supplies since it spins for easy access.

Tip #6 Use a Caddy For Cleaning Supplies
The iDesign Linus Large Divided Tote holds all my cleaning supplies. I love it because I can see everything, and easily pull it out and access the supplies when it's time to clean the bathroom.
