I used this for my daughter and all of her electronics. It definitely looks better than the tangled mess of cords she used to have hanging from the outlet!

A little pricey but works well
Although $30 is a lot for something that is basically a plastic shoe box, it does exactly what it says it will do. The surge protector and cords fit nicely inside and clean up that mess you have under the desk.

Expensive but worth it
I debated on purchasing this item but ultimately decided to give it a try. It was hard to justify spending $30 on a plastic box. I'm so glad I did it! It holds our large double surge protector and all the misc cords. Our home office looks so much cleaner and organized. Such a simple idea and it really makes a big difference.

A must have!

CableBox a must have for organizers
The CableBox is a great product. It looks exactly like the picture and actually fit our oversized surge protector when we put it in diagonally. We use our front room as an office instead of a living room and the cable box makes it so neat and tidy.

Great Solution For Cable "Rat's Nest"!
My wife HATES seeing cables behind/around our entertainment system componenets. These cable boxes are a great way to hide them. They are large enought to accommodate an 8-outlet power strip, all the plugs, and lots of "loops" of extra cables. The openings in each end are large enough to allow a lot of wiring to pass through, and the flush-fitting lid makes for a clean appearance. We used the black ones and they are virtually invisible in our entertainment cabinet. My wife is now very pleased, which, in turn, makes me happy. Thanks again, Container Store, for a great solution!

Simple Yet Functional
I had seen this product previously at a friend's house and didn't think I needed it until I moved my office to my home. What a difference this box makes! Gone are the stray cords in all directions - so unsightly and messy! Now all of my cords run into this box - brilliant! I squirmed a bit at the price (seemed a little high given the simple concept) but no regrets making the purchase.

Super Practical
My mother in law came to stay and I had to convert my man cave into a guest room. I hid of a pile of cables without having to pack up my gear. Nice. I do wish it was less expensive as it is essentially a plastic shoe box with slits on the sides. If I had the time, I could have made something like this for free.

CableBox - Great idea
Love this product because it hides all the messy cables under my computer desk. It helps keep them clean as well since they attract so much dust. This Cablebox keeps everything together. It's a bit pricey at $30 and the included cable ties aren't very good. So I just used my own.

Neat and Organized!
I like working with my computer in an organized desk. The CableBox made it possible to hide all the cables and connectors and keep the desk free of clutter. The black and white colors provide an alternative for a "high tech" or "modern" look.

Great Organizing Tool
This is a great way to hide all of your cords. It is only a simple box, but it enables you to take clutter and organize it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a number of chargers and computer cords that they want to organize for their office.

This really does the job!
I looked at the box and thought it was pricey for a plastic item, but after realizing that I would be too lazy to create my own version out of a shoe box, bit the bullet and bought it. The many wires around my desk are no longer an eyesore and I'm delighted with that result.

Love it that it contains it!!!!
I wasn't sure about buying this item. It looked like it would be a good idea but it was a little pricey. When it went on sale, I decided to try one out. I bought the black one and put my quirky pivot surge protector in the cable box. Low and behold it fit. It looks so neat under my desk. What a great way to hide all the messy cords. I would definitely like to purchase more.

Goodbye cable clutter!
This is a very cool box - my husband convinced me to try it under our desk area...and he was right, it's great! The black one blends in perfectly with our dark wood floors. I wish it was slightly narrower to work in another space we have, but overall it's great!

Great for Cord Management
This CableBox hides all of your cords into one neat and tidy package. It's easy to use, and fits a power strip, along with a whole host of cords. and then it hides out of the way under your desk or against the wall. Perfect for city living where the old apartment buildings only have 1 outlet in the least convenient spot possible.

Cords Didn't Look Tidy
I bought this thinking it would help fix the cord situation under my desk, but it didn't work for me. It's a simple plastic box, so you may be thinking...what could go wrong? Well, in the picture, the cords are laying flat, going straight through the box, and going out in only one direction. You can actually still see the cords, but not the adapters or the plug. In my case, however, the cords are not lying flat. They go upwards to my desk and they are not all going out one way like in the picture because different items are placed in different locations on my desk. So, instead of just unsightly cords, I had cords sticking OUT of the box going all different ways, plus a huge, overpriced plastic box. I also found that when I wanted to use my laptop cord elsewhere around the house, it was a a pain to unplug it from the box under the desk. I returned the cable box and just pushed the cords to a less visible location behind my desk drawers.
This may work well for hiding the actual PLUGS from pets and small children, but it does not hide the cords themselves and it's a real pain when you need to unplug something.
