Sturdy and cute
We bought this 2 drawer locking file cabinet to go under our home office floating desk. The rest of the room is sleek and modern and we wanted something in keeping with that look. The Poppin is cute due to it's rounded edges and retro handle. However it is sturdy and reliable which is the point for a file cabinet. While we didn't want something that looked too industrial or 1970s throwback, we did want something that was strong, opened easily, locked, and held a lot. The drawers fully extend (harder to find that you might think), and the depth accommodates plastic tabs on hanging files (also surprisingly hard to come by). We are happy with the purchase!

If you are looking for something to store desk supplies and files, look no further. This is a high quality product that is great. Drawers work effortlessly and there is even a lock. This comes in 2 sizes, standard and a narrower version, of which I have both. Works great side by side or together.

It is a beautiful metal cabinet. It does not have the usual clunky and cheap feel of a metal furniture. It looks elegant, and the quality is very good! I like how smooth it is when pulling out the drawers!

Very Satisfied
I am used to high quality commercial office furniture. This is not that, but I am also not using it in a commercial setting :)
It is perfect for what I am using it for. A huge upgrade from what we had before. And it is a great aesthetic addition to our home office.

Great for small spaces!
I shopped around quite a bit, looking for the right file cabinet. Cheaper ones I found were manufactured out of particle board or MDF, neither of which holds up. It wasn't inexpensive but based on my research, the cost reflected the quality. I purchased this file cabinet to fit under a built in desk and I am very pleased with it. It is well made, attractive, and the rounded edges prevent accidents should I run into it. I purchased the optional wheels so I could slide it under the desk and pull out as needed. While I haven't made use of it yet, I also like the option of filing either letter or legal files. I was able to use a discount coupon which certainly didn't hurt!

Cuter than the average file cabinet
I purchased this mainly because it did not have sharp edges. We have twin toddlers, and while I'd like to think I can keep them out the office area of our bonus room, we all know that's not true. The drawers glide well and you can only open one drawer at a time. It locks and is heavy. We currently have our printer on top of it. The only con for me is the price. It is a bit steep considering it's just a 2-drawer file cabinet. But it seems to be well made.

Would recommend on sale
I bought this filing cabinet with the wheels, which I found very helpful. And the back two lock easily enough to keep it stationary. When the bottom drawer is full, the piece will tip forward. The top drawers have adjustable separators so I can choose the sizes of the spaces to hold whatever I need. Make sure all your drawers are completely closed when you turn the key or it will bend out of shape. I chose this cabinet for its style, but I waited for it to go on sale. That being said, I felt good about it once I paid fifty dollars less.

Big Improvement!
I replaced my old file cabinet with the new Poppin--the difference is phenomenal. It is quality-made & much sturdier than my old one. I purchased the castors with it which makes it much easier to move around if necessary. Well worth the extra $$ I paid.

I researched filing cabinets a long time off and on -- probably for over a year. I looked in thrift and second-hand stores, I looked on Craigslist & FB Marketplace, I looked in office supply stores and specialty filing cabinet stores, all while I was using various filing cheap cabinets at home (amassing all the frustrating things I wanted fixed in my next purchase). Using a gift card and a discount code on Container Store, I was able to get a great deal on this cabinet and I'm telling you, you'd be hard pressed to find something as nice as this for the money. It is so heavy-duty, looks gorgeous, the lock locks both drawers at once as opposed to just one, there is an automatic mechanism that keeps you from pulling both drawers out at once to prevent it from tipping over, and it is so quiet and smooth to use. I think I'll probably have it the rest of my life. The only thing I was a little sad about was that it doesn't make a satisfying "click" when the drawer is in place, but there is nothing outwardly that would indicate it does that -- that's the small price to pay for a beautiful, sturdy, and cost-effecting cabinet.

Get it.
This is the best filing cabinet I've ever had (years of corporate work, home cabinets, etc. gave me a lot of experience with using them.) It's sturdy, well made, smartly laid out and fits perfectly under my standard desk. This is the one.

Worth it!
I’ve been searching high & low for a filing cabinet & finally found the perfect one! Cool color variety, sturdy hardware, preassembled which is a major PLUS. I was hesitant about purchasing this filing cabinet due to the price, but it’s worth it! You get a great product for your money!

Sturdy and elegant
I bought two of these file cabinets. They are incredibly sturdy. Everything about them feels solid from drawer opening/closing to the locking mechanism. I especially like the curved corners. Ever had one of the old standard-type metal file cabinets with those needle-sharp corners? If so, you'll understand why I value the design of these Poppin file cabinets.

Poppin 2 Drawer File Cabinet.....................
The Poppin File cabinet has to be the most amazing and affordable file cabinet I have ever owned. It fits neatly under the desk I also purchased from the Container store. I have now condensed all my filing to this one cabinet. I could not be more satisfied with it. Absolutely handsome file cabinet, built extremely well and so sturdy. The file cabinet looks like it coss much more than it did. Love it, love it!

Great choice
The look is much more modern than a typical filing cabinet. I live in a small nyc apartment and my office is also my dining room and my living room so I need office furniture that also looks sleek and goes with my decor. This fits the bill. It looks modern in my space, but could also fit other decor styles. I got the castors and don't regret that choice at all! It's well made and holds lots of stuff! I'd recommend this for sure!

Neat file cabinet
Drawers are smooth working. Heavy and very sturdy. Not flimsy like some cabinets. Looks great under my desk. I love that both drawers lock and the inside where the lock is doesn’t interfere with my hanging files. A safety precaution bottom drawer only opens when top drawer is completely closed. I would make this purchase again.

I Love This Filing Cabinet
I bought 2 of these for my home office. I added the casters and it makes them totally mobile. They are excellent quality, drawers all glide smoothly and they can be locked if I want to keep the grandkids from disturbing my files. They fit into a lot of spaces other file cabinets would not. I am purchasing another one for my son to help him get a handle on all his loose papers floating around.

great locking file cabinet
I bought two of these for my mother when she moved to a smaller apartment -- great storage for her sensitive documents and helping keep order in a studio apartment. I was so impressed I bought one for myself a couple of weeks later. Easy to switch out the glider feet for the casters, too.
