Not just for Elfa
While I use this liners on our Elfa closet shelves, we have found them to be excellent shelf and drawer liners in our kitchen....much better than many of the roll products sold. They are soft enough to conform and lay flat. They are also easy to cut to size. Plates and glasses slide easily over the rougher surface and they don't tend to slide around on the shelf or drawer bottom. Moreover while we have not been using them all that long, they will probably last for years.
They do cost more, but the quality is worth it. Highly recommended for surfaces you don't want to get banged up and scratched. The larger size even works great for rolling out dough when baking.
Good quality products prove their worth in more ways than one.

Translucent elfa Ventilated Shelf Liners
I bought this product not to line shelfs with. But to use as cutting mats for my Silver Bullet Cutting Machine. They are so awesome. The mats we have to purchase for our machines are around 20 dollars a piece for a 1 x 12 mat. I was able to get to cutting mats out of these for under 2.00. They hold up so well. I love them. I will be buying lots more and have recommended them to several friends for have purchased them also.

Shelf liners are multi-use
I LOVE these shelf liners. I have used them for years and carried them from house to house as we have moved. And, I use them in many places, not just as liners for my metal closet shelving. I also cut them to fit in my kitchen cabinets where I store heavy items. So, they are in my cabinets that store my pots and pans as well as under my sink where I store cleaning supplies. They prevent scratches and marks and wipe up easily. I even cut one to put it on the corner of my granite counter top, so that I could put a basket of fruit or a pineapple on it without worrying about the surface of my granite. I also use them on my garage shelves where I store flower pots and plant chemicals. There is no comparison on the market!

the Versatile Vinyl Ventilated Shelf Liner
Although I initially bought this shelf liner for the Elfa shelves in my closet, I have since purchased and used them as a boot tray during the winter, as a floor protector under my cat's eating area, and even fashioned a kitty litter enclosure under a small bathroom sink area that would not have accommodated an enclosed kitty litter box.
I have also used it to protect the tops of kitchen cabinets from dust. I find it much easier to work with this semi-structured material rather than soft liner paper. Easier to clean also.

Good for Storing Small Items on Shelves
These shelf liners work well with the elfa ventilated shelving to keep smaller items in place.

Keeps dust down
I bought these for our ventilated shelves. I love that it helps disguise what is on the shelf and makes the closet look cleaner. I also like that it will help keep the dust from falling through the ventilated shelf onto the items below. I did think the price could be just a touch cheaper for something that is just a piece of plastic that sits on a shelf.

Great accessory
If you plan to store clothes on the wire shelving, you need the liners. Very durable and they are high quality. I only wish they made longer lengths.

Made wire shelves usable
Just moved into a new house with generic wire shelves in linen closets and pantry - thought I'd have to invest in wood shelves to make them usable but these liners saved the day. They look great, are easy to clean and definitely work to prevent everything from falling through the cracks or tipping over. Easy to cut to size with scissors and install by just sitting on top of wire shelves - I installed with the frosted side up. Only way they could be better is if they were a bit thicker - as the heavy can goods in my pantry still make the wire shelves bow a bit - but at least they now stand upright. Great product - would highly recommend!

Love ELFA!
I have Elfa, all self installed, all over my house: walk in closet/laundry closet, full pantry, craft room, 8 drawer systems.. you name the room and it's here! It's sturdy, clean looking, stands up to time, and has lots of options.

Works Great!
When we bought our house many of the closets had the white wire shelf systems installed which was great, but small items were not stable. Whether you have the ELFA brand shelving or any other wire shelving, these are a MUST! Easy to modify and for the cost you don't feel bad cutting them.

16" x 2' elfa Ventilated Shelf Liner Translucent
We bought this shelf liner paper to use in our new home in our kitchen pantry and linen closets. It is the best liner I have ever used. It fit our wire shelves perfect and nothing will be off balance or fall through the shelves now. I would buy this product every time I needed a shelf liner and have recommended this product to friends.

Great shelf liners
I am keeping shoes on some of my Elfa wire closet shelving so the shelf liners are great. Heels of my shoes don't fall in-between the shelf wires and the liners make it really easy to keep the shelves clean - great, sturdy product.

Great Catch on My Mistake
I ordered on line and missed the difference of slotted standard to be applied direct to the wall and the one to be hung from the bar. I was traveling 130 miles to install this closet and would have been in quite the pickle if I had the wrong parts. When I picked up the order, the gentleman that assisted me, reviewed the order and spotted the mistake...He saved me time and frustration...I am grateful for that super service and knowledgeable associate. Great customer service! Thank you!!

Perfect for our closet
Arrived folded over a bit in the box and curved. Let them sit under an anvil for a few days, now perfectly flat and keeping tiny things from falling through our shelves. If they had been shipped in the right size box, we could have put them to use right away.

Can't Be Beat
Use these shelf liners EVERYWHERE, and love them. Easy to keep clean. I don't even have ELFA shelving, but I use these liners in cabinets and other shelves. Especially good for painted shelves, to keep books and display items from marring the paint.

Makes Wire Shelves More Useable
I bought these to line my wire shelves and decrease wrinkles in clothing. They do a better job of keeping items from falling through the cracks than reducing wrinkles though. I do wish they came in more widths than 2 ft and 3 ft. I know I could cut them, but I just overlap them or leave part of the shelf bare.

Shelf Liner
I actually used this liner for some off-brand wire shelving which had some odd sizes. I originally bought some vinyl matting, but it gave off fumes even after a few weeks. This liner has no odor and I was able to cut it very easily with scissors. It's worked out great.

Great idea!
I use these on my elfa "shoe rack" I've installed in my garage and it's great to keep mud/dirt from falling onto the shoes on the rack below. They do slide around a bit from time to time, but overall I'm very happy with these.

Can't live without!
Yes, I use these liners on my Elfa shelving, and they work great for their intended purpose. I also use them in many other ways around my house- it's tough to find such a heavy weight rigid/flexible plastic. I use them under plants, under pet food bowls, over my garage windows (they let light in but keep curious eyes out), and as a work surface protector on my desk. I've used thumbtacks to fasten them to the bottoms of doors to prevent pet scratching. They look nice, are easy to cut, and wipe clean. I can't live without them!

For those of you not using this to line a Container Store shelf, the 20"x3' liner is NOT that size. It measures 18 7/8" x 35 1/4.

Translucent shelt liners
i love the fact that i can keep items from slipping thru my upper shelving units while still being able to see what's being stored up there from underneath without having to climb up a ladder to see what's i did put up there there...iwould have preferred if i didn't have to cut it to size, but it wasn't a big deal...
