Disappointed
With Covid I’m not out as much as usual so not wearing as many clothes. I bought this thinking it would keep my clothes dust-free. The design is awful. The 3 hooks are SUPPOSED to hang on your rack. The middle one doesn’t even touch. The inside rod where you hang your clothes shifts to one side or the other causing everything to slide. You have to very carefully try to balance your hangers on the rod. Very disappointed. These are not cheap either. Save your money!

PEVA Hanging Storage Bag
I purchased this in the Spring for some added storage. Very cheaply made. The bar at the top collapsed on one side so all of my items slid to the opposite side. Awful!. Would never buy this again or recommend it.

weight/# of garments it can hold limited
You're limited in amount of garments you store because if you weigh it down too much it breaks. I use slim hangers and bought these to store garments I don't wear all the time, such as nice dresses and suits, but will still use and want to protect them. I must have put too many garments in it for what it can hold in terms of weight. Not long after I started using the ones I bought, the hangers at the very top began to break. I was able to use zip ties in place of them, but not ideal. For the amount of space they take up, they can't hold very many garments. If you are trying to store more than 5 or so garments, I would go with something different.

Ripped at the top
What a novel idea but a waste of money. The rod cannot hold the weight of the clothes and the metal rings popped out and the whole bag collapsed. Not a well made bag for storage. I got a suit bag, dress bag and gown bag. So disappointed cause we can’t return them.

white gunk in bag gets on black clothes
this is a really bad product. It leaves a WHITE RESIDUE on your black clothes. Totally unacceptable in a garment bag.
The INSIDE of the bag is coated with a white dust or grease, I suppose as part of the manufacturing.
In addition, the wire frame is very weak and bent when I put 3 jackets on it.

The worst item
As a container store fan, I am highly disappointed in this item. I have been battling with these bags for off season storage and finally gave up today. They collapsed repeatedly, weight of clothes constant shifts to one side at the slightest touch. Worst product I’ve purchased at container store.

Doesn’t hold 3-4 suits
Sad it didn’t hold 3-4 suits. Weight of suits shifted constantly which bent and broke the rod. I finally gave up trying to make it work.

Works great
Love this for keeping moths out. Only flaw is there are three small holes around the hangers that stick out and grasp onto the bar. Besides that I like how organized it makes my closet look and protects my cashmere.

Terrible Purchase
The rod holding the hanger pieces COLLAPSED the moment I first put clothes in the bag!
The weight of the clothes bent the rod (above the rod where clothes hang), the clothes moved to one side, and the entire bag fell off the closet rod.
I had moved the clothes from a 10-year old bag (purchased elsewhere) that had torn away from the zipper, but the support rod in that bag was braced with a metal piece that this bag doesn’t have, and it never once in ten years warped or bent under the weight of the clothes. I have now repaired it with duct tape.
Protect yourself from aggravation and don’t buy this bag. It’s worthless

I bought my first hanging suit bag on 2/6, I got it to hang long & short sleeve tees and was happy with the results, this was a good purchase. At the time I only bought one bag because of some of the questionable reviews so I went back to the store for a second bag on 2/11. There were only 3 left and one had obviously been returned so I chose the one that looked the least like it had been opened - I got home to discover it had likely been used and returned, the inside of the bag smells like a moldy basement. The store is a little inconvenient for me so rather than return it I decided I’d hang bamboo charcoal air purifying bags inside it. I hung about 12 sleeveless summer blouses on it and everything tilted to one side and the top frame bent; the clothes in the first bag are heavier so this is definitely weird. I took the frame out & tried to unbend it and the bent part snapped in half. I’m not going back to the store because it’s too out of the way and there are only two likely used bags in stock. Maybe superglue, idk.
First purchase good, second not so much. I guess these garment bags are hit or miss.

Bent and Don’t Work
In theory these are great. My boyfriend surprised me and got a bunch of these to protect my clothes from our cat. Sadly they all bent and broke and couldn’t support the weight of my clothes. I didn’t think I put that much in there.

Peva Clear Wardrobe Hanging Storage Bag
This product is very sturdy and is perfect for storage seasonal items/clothing. I liked it so much that I went back & purchased (2) more. So far, every item that I have ever purchased from The Container Store has been simply amazing. This storage bag seals completely up, insuring that your items are definitely protected from dust & dirt particles.

Different quality than before
I brought a couple of these 4 years ago and the quality was great, I hung the same jackets on the older one with out an issue. The one I purchased today is very weak it bent and is of poor quality. I have less jackets on this one and it’s all jacked up.

Fantastic Items
I recently purchased three of the PEVA Hanging Storage Bags. They appear to be of very good quality material. My only "complaint" is that one of the bags didn't have the protective flap that covers the zipper.

Great, affordable product
I store my out of season clothes in an attic space, and have had problems with pests in the past. I also have limited space. These bags fit the space perfectly. The heavy plastic protects my clothing from pests. The bags are sturdy and well made. I initially had problems with weight of clothing bending the rod - total operator error. The rod has to be in the correct position, and it will hold much more weight. The very top bar, that has the “hangers” for the closet rod, needs to be in place with the “loops” on its ends facing down. I have seen other reviews say the weight was a problem - this is probably why. Maybe add instructions to the pacakaging.

Kind of flimsy
Bought two of these to put all my dresses in. Discovered quickly that they do not hold too much weight. I used light hangers and put my lightest dresses in these (10 dresses), but they instantly started weighing it down. Only kept one and returned the other. The PEVA Single Gown Bag Clear worked a whole lot better for me so I ended up purchasing a couple of those to protect my dresses. This purchase hurt me because the plastic is so strong and there is no room for dust to get in.

Less than acceptable durability
Bot 4 of these @ $20 pp for long term basement storage. went back down the next day to discover that the hanging hooks failed under with the weight. My solution was to bend them over the rod completely ( close the loop). Came back again to find the hook mount itself detached from the hanger rod. Advise end users to limit what you put into them, keep them sparsely filled and buy many more than you think you need. Mine are going back.

Great product!
The hanging dress bag is wonderful! It's made of sturdy material and the top and bottom frame keep the bag from bunching up when you add too much to your closet rod keeping the dresses from being crammed together. The flap over the zipper was my biggest surprise! It folds over the zipper pull to keep dust from getting in around the pull. Great product and great value.

These are Great!
I purchased a few of these for our closets to put suits and coats in. I can not believe how much I can fit in these!! I ordered the suit size, and have put 6 jackets comfortably in one, and there is still room. These are sturdy with the inner frame, and do not smell of plastic at all!! Great for organizing ! I love these!

Storage bags
The younger generation likes fancily designed closets .I however have a smaller closet so I split my wardrobe in two. In winter my spring and summer clothes go into these bags so they are protected and I store them in a spare bedroom. I also use them at my Mom's nursing home so the aides don't put her in summer clothes when it's winter.

Love these storage bags
I've used both the suit length and the longer length PEVA hanging storage bags in every closet I've had through all the different apartments I've rented. They keep my winter clothes safe in the summer, and my summer clothes secure in the winter.

Poor quality
This bag keeps your clothes protected and makes your closet look neater, but it cannot handle heavier clothing or any significant amount of weight. While the frame and hanging rod are steel, the 3 top hooks are pliable (you can literally bend them with your fingers). When hanging heavier clothes, the hooks just bend right off my rack and onto the floor the whole thing goes! They need to make the hooks out of the same guage steel as the rest of it. Disappointed.

Hooks are weak!
such a disappointment. I bought three of these to hang suits/work clothes in storage, and as I was packing, all three fell for the same reason. The hooks are so weak, they literally bent and fell to the ground, along with my nice suits/shirts. It would be great if you wanted to hang one or two, like in the picture, but considering the width and the fact that their are three hooks, it ought to be strong enough to hold more. The enclosed plastic is great, as long as it stays hung up. My clothes all fell to the ground.

I use them alot
I've used them a lot but I'm having doubts about their effectiveness w/regard to insect prevention.. Even using (always# hanging moth/silverfish, killing/prevention products, my cloths still come out with holes in them, every year w/one more small hole or tear in several items. Certainly, I clean & dry my cloths thoroughly prior to storage. But, every years, at seasnon's change I will find inside , stuck to the plastic moth prevention holder, something black, greasy & very difficult to remove. This year in one of them I was able to view what appeared to be a full set of wings. I believe that silverfish & carpet beetle larvea leave tear type marks, moths leave round holes and I see both #from inside out) on many items. I continue to buy them but I''m wondering if it makes sense to do so. Perhaps we're supposed to replace the insect killing/preventative products several times per season but because in CA they issue cancer warnings it scares me and cloths must be aired out to use. The storage bags are very sturdy but *DO NOT* try to move them with items inside: the top , the metal hanging apparatus, is not sturdy enough to manage that. You must empty out bags to move clothes separately.

Better than I expected!
This summer I found a few little spiders nesting inside of my clothes that were hung up in my closet - soooo gross! These storage bags will protect my clothes so I don't have to worry about the spider problem anymore. The bags are much larger than I pictured, which is wonderful because I'll be able to fit a whole bunch of suits, dresses, etc in each one!

PEVA Hanging Bag - Not Ideal
I purchased four of these pricey bags. Hoping that true to TCS products they would be of high quality and sturdy.
They don't hold up to the test.
First they hog space in that you have to hang clothing off a tiny interior rail.
Second neither the rail or the hooks that actually hang off of a hanging rod are built to hold weight. By much weight I mean clothing for a petite woman and enough clothes to fill the hanging rod (not stuffed, just regular amount of clothes). When you put enough clothes to fill the rail the hanging hooks just bend from the weight. My clothes all ended up in a heap during my move.
I wouldn't recommend this bag to any client. I feel like I wasted my money and would have been better served buying the jumbo garment bag which has proven the test of time through multiple client engagements and moves/relocations.
