To get started, you'll work with one of our experienced designers to create a space that is completely custom for your home. Next, we take professional measurements of your space to confirm the exact dimensions, and then review your design with you to ensure everything is perfect. Once you approve your design, we will place your order (50% payment is collected at this time) and schedule installation. The remainder of the payment is collected upon installation.
Length of the process depends on complexity of the design, anywhere from three to five months from design to installation.
Everything! The cost of your space includes design, measuring, delivery, demolition (removal of up to two rods and two shelves per wall, plus related touch-ups with flat white paint), installation and trash removal.

Drawer styles include three profiles. In addition, drawers come in 3 standard widths, four heights and three depths to accommodate your storage needs. We also offer under-mount glides to provide a clean, nearly invisible look.
Both our drawers and our doors are soft-close. This means they close on their own with a gentle push.
All of our drawers are full-extension. This means you can pull them out all the way, giving you full access to the contents of the entire drawer.
A dovetail joint is used in carpentry. It's a particularly strong joint that resists pulling apart. It's made when a series of fingers cut to extend from the end of one board interlock with a series of fingers cut into the end of another board. They lock together like a puzzle.
Yes, Preston can be outfitted with a LED lighting package. The lighting can be hardwired into a wall or push-button switch. The lighting can also be controlled with a dimmer. We will provide you with electrical specifications and everything you need to know after your design is confirmed.
Because the LED lighting is integrated into the design of the solution, it cannot be purchased separately.

Caring for your space is easy. Treat it like you would any fine piece of furniture. You can use a damp towel or nonabrasive household cleaner such as Murphy® Oil Soap or Formula 409® All-Purpose Cleaner. For stubborn stains, use mineral spirits. Do not use products containing acetone, acetate or ethyl alcohol. Harsh solvents and/or abrasives such as turpentine may break down the material bonds and should be avoided. Ammonia cleaners should be diluted. Certain waxes may lead to discoloration and are not recommended.
Important note: Apply solvents to a clean cloth and never directly to the product. Never leave a cloth moistened with solvents on a surface for any length of time.

No, installation is included in the price of your space. Our Professional Preston installers take care of removing existing shelves, closet rods and baseboards mounted to the walls where your new custom space will be installed.
