The fabulous wedding lifestyle blogger, Jillian Clark, recently moved into a brand new home for her sweet family of four. In addition to designing her and her husband's dream closet, we also tackled her wonderful boys' shared closet, too!
Having a shared closet meant that every inch of space had to work for both boys and their parents, to ensure easy mornings and nighttime routines.
See the transformed shared elfa closet space and shop everything, below.
elfa birch décor Shelving both lightened up the space and maximized every inch of it. By focusing mainly on open shelving, Jillian and co. were able to create a space that functioned as a dual closet that also stored games, toys, shoes, blankets, books and more.
Two elfa closet rods separate each boy's clothes and still keep everything high enough to have Mom and Dad help every day.
Open bins, like our Navy Laguna Cotton Fabric Storage Bins, perfectly stored items that both boys could access with ease. Their soft construction makes them safe for anyone to slide off a shelf and rummage through, and their open design means everything is just as easy to put right back in place.
elfa decor also works as a bookshelf for quick perusing of potential nighttime reads. Bigso Marten Navy Office Storage Boxes mix up the color scheme and provide closed storage for things that Jillian and her husband, Scott, should have easy (and somewhat exclusive) access to.
Hampton Woven Storage Bins accent the birch decor and help to store building blocks, cars, Legos and more. Their integrated handles make them perfect to take of the shelf and tote around the room.
When all was said, designed, and done, the entire family had a closet to be happy about.
"My older son is slightly obsessed with things being organized and everything having its right place. Especially his Harry Potter book collection. That was huge! My younger son, who is 15 months, loves all the baskets. We keep all of his toys on the lower shelves and it's his little discovery center," said Jillian.
So happy we could help!
