An unusual use for the basketball case
There are many uses for this basketball display case. I make scale model rooms in 1" equals 1 foot scale. (Dollhouse scale) This cube is just the right size when I make a single room display. My suggestion to all who don't have basketballs to save, is to take a look at the things on your shelves and see what you can display in the large assortment of plastic boxes that The Container Store carries. Using the cubes really cuts down on my "detail" dusting. and makes my life a little easier. P.S.: if you have a table saw with a fine blade your can adjust the vertical height by trimming off the same amount from each end of the "U" shaped pieces.

The Wheaties box
These protective boxes are great! it's hard to find these plastic protective boxes, for certain sizes. these guys have it all. awesome product quick shipping fantastic to work with! and they are the most inexpensive ones out there. I searched and searched for weeks and finally determined these guys have the best box for the buck!!!

Nice product but arrived damaged
The display cube is cool, I bought it to display some collectibles. The 3 star rating is because the case arrived with 2 cracks in it.

Looks Amazing
I needed this for something other than a car display. I stood it upright for a sports bobblehead and it worked perfect! Very clear and easy to open and close!

Hard to open - good if you want them "locked"
Due to the clear plastic and the way they fit together - it is very difficult to open the compartments after they are slid shut.

Doll Display Makes Great Mask Display
Was in the market for a display case for my Halloween masks and was having trouble finding a good one for a reasonable price. I would say that this "Doll-Size Display Cube" was the best option out there. Upon opening the size is perfect and as you can see from the photo, looks pretty good. I am giving 4 stars only because there was fingerprint type smudges on the surface that even after cleaning with Windex could not come out. I suspect it was just a poor batch but I leave those areas facing the back.

Perfect sized display box for anything
I bought this after looking everywhere for a display box for an unusually sized antique doll. It might be billed as made for a ball, but the bottom is flat, so it's perfect for displaying other things and the size is very unique among display boxes.

I wish this display box had a lift lid or some sort of design that allowed it to stay close once you put stuff inside. The design is not that practical. A lift lid would work so much better. I give it two stars because its the perfect size and other than the design, the quality is not bad.

Too big
This box turned out to be too large for the shelf and for the Japanese doll I wanted to put in it. I returned it. 5 stars because it was well constructed. I wish Container Store sold a larger variety of doll cases.

Awesome product

Genius!!
I brought a purse into my local store hoping it would fit into one of the acrylic hat boxes I’d seen. It did not. I asked an associate and she brought me directly to this. It works like a charm. Keeps my bag out in my closet where I can see it but keeps it dust free. I love it!

Love this!
Bought this to be able to keep a designer clutch visible but dust free. It is difficult to get open but for the few times per year I’ll be taking the bag out it’s totally worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Lego scene display!
I've built several different kinds of these Lego displays. I built a wedding one and gave it with a bow on top and it was a huge hit! Its so versatile, I've also built a series of them to remember landmark events in my life and I have them on the shelf alongside photo frames. They're so cool to look at because the entire cube is transparent.

perfect for more than sports stuff
I needed a small "display" case for a cast of my deceased pet's footprint. My vet took an impression of my pet's foot pad in clay and when it dried I wanted something to put it in that would protect it. Sounds morbid to some people, but I treasure this little token and this case was perfect. I don't actually have it on display but it does keep it from being destroyed and it's not something I can replace should something happen to it.

Poor Design
I have to say this case is such a poor design I do not even know why they made it and for the price it should have been design way better. I would say pass on this case see the picture below I wanted put a game in this so back to the drawing board.

Model Train Display case
This is perfect for my model trains display. I modified it slightly by drilling 3 holes through the clear plastic. Then mounting it horizontally with screws and rubber washers directly to the wall. The washers allow it to stand off the wall just far enough to get the end caps on. It keeps them dust free but open for viewing. See the picture provided.

plastic display cubes
I love these boxes to hold my collections..mostly glass and things that are impossible to dust. The only complaint I have is that they are hard to open and close. Sometimes they go together easy and other times it is a wrestling match which means you have to reopen and set things straight again. Why can't they make them with lids?

Baseball Cube
I have purchased 100+ of these over the last 12 months for my son's home run balls, game balls, team balls for winning state championship, etc. They are great.
I do wish there was a way to get a discount as a POP member and when I buy them in large quantities.

Great for hockey pucks!
I have been searching for hockey puck cases for my husband and my hockey pucks (of HUGE rival teams, the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins) and never found something that I liked or it was just too expensive. These are so affordable, are easy to open/use, and are the perfect fit for a hockey puck! Great product and will definitely buy more of these as we accumulate more pucks!

I bet you didn't know you needed a golf ball cube, did you?? Why would one need a cube for their golf ball? In my case, we actually DID have a need. My son had a souvenir Cape Cod golf ball that he'd received years ago on the occasion of his first mini-golf hole in one. It's been rolling around his bureau top ever since.
But now, that lil sucker is encased, stationary, and decorative. Thanks, Container Store!

Not what I expected
In describing the cube, The Container Store did not make clear (pardon the pun) that two sides of the box and its lid were open. I had expected a box and its lid to be closed on all four sides. That's not what I got; so it didn't serve my purpose for purchasing the cube. I had intended to use the boxes to store jewelry.
