How can I order by phone?
We are available to take your call Monday through Saturday,
8 AM –
8 PM and
Sunday, 9 AM –
7 PM Central Time.

Can I order by fax?
Just print out a copy of your Shopping Cart and fax it to us with a cover sheet. The cover sheet must include:
Your name
Your billing address
The ship To address and recipient name
Your phone number (must be the same as the number on file with your credit card company)
The credit card type (i.e. Visa), card number, expiration date and issuing bank (i.e. Citibank)
Your email address
Fax your completed order form toll-free to 1-800-786-5858. We will call you back to confirm the order, and give you an exact total including applicable taxes and shipping charges.
How can I check the status of my order?

What credit cards does The Container Store accept?

I can't find a product I saw in your store. Can I order merchandise online that I saw at The Container Store?
Our Web site features a select grouping of the items we carry in our stores. For questions,
or to order products that are not featured on this site, please call us at 1-888-CONTAIN
(266-8246) or call the store nearest you.
Shipping Information  (top)
- We only ship within the continental United States.
- For an additional charge, we ship to Alaska and Hawaii.
- We do not ship to APO or FPO Boxes.
- We do not ship to U.S. Territories.
What are your shipping charges?
- Some orders may require additional shipping charges. If this is the case, we will contact you before any shipment is made, or any charges are added to your credit card.
- Shipping is taxable in Washington D.C., Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas and Washington.
- Heavy, large or bulky items are subject to additional shipping fees. These additional shipping fees are noted on that item's product page and are also shown in your Shopping Cart.
Do you ship APO/FPO?
At The Container Store, we are committed to offering excellent products and astonishing customer service.
That's why it's so important to us that your products arrive safely. We have tried unsuccessfully to offer
APO/FPO shipping. The extra handling involved led to an extremely high percentage of lost and damaged items,
which made many customers unhappy and frustrated. This service was not acceptable to our customers,
nor was it acceptable to us. For this reason, we no longer ship to APO and FPO addresses,
but we continue to look for viable alternatives that will allow us to ship items directly to those who are
protecting our country overseas.
If there is another stateside address to which you would like us to ship, please let us know and we will be happy to process your order. We apologize for any inconvenience.

What is your Return Policy?
We will be happy to issue a refund for returned merchandise when accompanied by your original receipt. Returns without a receipt will receive a merchandise credit and will require your name, address, phone number and a valid photo ID. The merchandise credit price of the returned products will be at the lowest retail price within the last 90 days (stores and online).
Returns may be made at any store. There are no shipping or restocking fees if you make an in-store return. For Click & Pickup orders, your email confirmation serves as your receipt.
Returns may also be shipped to 500 Freeport Parkway, Suite 100, Coppell, Texas 75019 (shipping fees apply).
