No extra lidThis is a product sold in many stores. Everywhere else, that I see, sells it with an extra lid. This is so that you can take one section with you, and put the lid on the next section down, so that the pills don't fall out.
As sold here, it comes with only one lid, which to me is impractical.
I returned it and will buy elsewhere.

Can I safely put creams and powders in this without leaking?

While not airtight, our 7-Section Stackable Pill Organizer can hold powder or creams if it is stored right side up. Not suitable for storing creams or powders for air travel, either in checked luggage or in a carry-on.
