For shoes? Yes - and myriad other uses.I visualize what I need to accomplish a task and walk in open-minded to Container Store. I look at everything as a possibility. Thus the shoeboxes to store vintage dolls and their clothes, each with its own space. The right size, the right shape and crystal clear to be able to reach for what I need without having to open or label multiple boxes.
Of course they'd be perfect for shoes as well as numerous other organizational needs.

Love to use this for lots of thingsEven though they are titled as shoe drawers I love using these drawers (and the dividers) for so many other things to keep my clothing organized.
I roll or fold my T-shirt’s, yoga pants, and store gloves and scarves in these drawers. I even have sectioned off belt drawers.
The best part is that I can see through so I don’t have to open and close so many containers. Would buy more!

Great for Scrapbook SuppliesI bought these to organize my Project Life cards and found more uses for my other supplies. They are great because you can see whats in everyone. They stack to together perfectly. I did find that when you stack them with heavy items in them they tip so I just put those on the bottom. I did by the dividers which made the organization go so much faster. The are nicely made and the drawers slide very easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great but with one flaw...These drawers are great for so many uses! I bought these to store kcups in our tiny hall closet in our apartment. Without the dividers I can get 56 kcups into each drawer, which allowed me to fit all of our kcups on 1 closet shelf instead of 2. Awesome! The only downside is that there are no drawer stops, so if you pull the drawer open without remembering to manually stop it, you'll have 56 kcups to pick back up off the floor and reorganize. Why not have drawer stops on these? Otherwise, love them.

Not just for shoes!Not quite what I expected, but a great buy anyway! I was thinking they would be wider so my boots won’t fit! However, I have found multiple uses for them. One example is my mailbox - yes, I get enough mail to fill it except for my magazines and catalogues which also need a wider drawer.

MUST BUYI have (15) of these in my home and none of them hold shoes! The drawers are great for cosmetics / under counter storage. I also use them in the pantry. The dividers help contain smaller items like Qtips and tea bags.

Not Tall Enough for Men's ShoesI purchased several of these for my husband's shoes. He wears an 11. The drawers were not wide enough to fit a pair of his shoes. I returned them and purchased the plastic shoe box, which works well for his shoes.

Good for organizing my husbands shoesFor the most part I am happy with the purchase, however I am disappointed that they did not work for my husbands dress shoes. These are supposed to fit up to a shoe size 13 if I am correct. However his dress shoes barely fit in them, and when we tried to close the drawer the shoes scraped against the top. To give you an idea of what type of shoe we tried. He wears a 10.5 medium width and his shoes are the brand SAS.

Worth it!I bought 24 of these to convince a client to get rid of her cardboard shoe boxes and she absolutely loved them. They make it much easier to group shoes by type and keep expensive shoes from getting so dusty! They stack well and allow you to see what you have.

Love these for my first aid suppliesLove these! I was inspired by an idea on Pinterest to use these for first aid supplies. My husband’s a physician, so we have lots of medical supplies that were hard to access in other types of bins. Super easy to get to supplies with the added benefit of being able to divide the drawer to hold smaller items. AND the drawer comes out easily, which was a must for my husband to quickly take items to other locations. Can’t say enough about how much I love these drawers! Also used water hyacinth baskets to organize my linen closet. Everything was well with the price.

Excellent product!I bought these for myself. Women’s shoe drawers that I have are too small for my bulky winter shoes. I love these! I can put 3-4 pairs of flat sandals in one drawer! I stack 3 drawers at the bottom of my closet, and 3 across for a total of 9. I have a small closet so I do have storage in my basement and switch out the shoes seasonally. I also bought them for my husband because he would have to look through all his shoe boxes to find his dress shoes! Now, he can find his shoes with ease!

Clear Stackable Shoe StorageI have been using the drop front shoe boxes for over a year now and they are great. I wanted get something small for chucks and vans so I tried these, which I've had for a few months now. Most reviews show people using them for small very light weight items other than shoes especially when stacking, which is what I would recommend.
There are a few things I would like to mention.
1. The construction does not seem to be as good as the drop front boxes.
2. When stacked they are not very stable at all. I would not stack anymore than 2-3.
3. I have 6 total. Half of the drawers work fine and half get stuck when opening and closing the drawers.

Love These For More Than Shoes!Looking for something to store coffee supplies at work and the measurements of the Men's Clear Shoe Drawers were PERFECT for our use as they were the perfect height stacked to go between the counter top and upper cabinet. With the addition of the drawer dividers, it's been a great match! I love how smoothly the drawers glide (no one is leaving them half open as before), the ability to quickly see what we are low on and a quick wipe is all it takes to clean any splatters to the outside.
Why did Container Store reply to this with different measurements than in the item description? (The interior dimensions of this drawer are 7-1/8" wide x 13-1/4" deep x 4-1/2" tall.)

Do these boxes allow your shoes to breathe? Do they have air holes?
Stephanie and her family (husband John and kids Allie and John) are fortunate enough to have a sizable Houston basement- nearly 2000 square feet! However, the frequently used space was very unorganized and had become a dumping ground for a myriad of items. Also, Stephanie and her family suffered a terrible flood in the space recently.
