Good as an "extra bag"I like this bag. I bought it after checking it out, so I knew that the fabric was lightweight. That was handy for me, as it meant that it folds up small. I use it if I am going to be bringing items one way but not the other.
This bag is small enough to qualify as the "extra bag" on an airline - meaning the item we can take in addition to a roll-aboard. Not packed full, mind you. But with judicious packing it qualifies.
I did check this bag on a trip back from Kenya. Four flights and the bag made it. Count me satisfied.

Did not meet expectationsI had high hopes for this bag, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. There were no customer reviews of it before I bought it. I thought it would be a great bag to have on hand in my travels - the zip pouch makes it super convenient to bring along. It's also got a lot of room in it. But don't count on it as a regular tote bag - it's probably only useful in emergencies. It's too flimsy to hold its shape and stay on your rolling suitcase. It has no structure to it and so it doesn't hold a bunch of small items well. I used it when I traveled on a ferry and it kept slipping off my suitcase. I had a few heavier items in it on my journey back home and the straps got so thin that they cut into my shoulder when I carried it. I guess it could be useful as a last-minute bag for light, large items, but as a tote, it fell short. I'm going to try it again on another trip now knowing it's pitfalls. Not sure it's worth the price. Will probably end up returning it.
What does the inside of this bag look like? The description says, "lots of thoughtful details" but I cannot tell from the photos what those are.

I need to know a measurement & weight
Wanting to know how wide the back panel is for the luggage handle to slip through. Trying to figure out if my luggage handle will fit through that sleeve. And how much the bag weighs. Thank you.

The wheeled luggage handle pass though is 9-7/8" wide and the Touring Bag itself weighs 8 ounces when empty.

How much weight can this reasonably carry?
I'm guessing it's less than 50lb based on the fabric but how much less?

We do not have a true weight capacity listed for this product, but it is made from premium quality polyester and it is considered to be water-repellent. The product is designed to function as an every day bag, as well as a travel bag.
