Excellent for overnight -long weekend carrierI recently went on a trip for a long weekend and utilizing the Eagle Creek Specter Pack-It Cubes made packing for the long weekend so easy. Using a Travelon 14" Wheeled Carry-On, I was able to not only pack all my clothes plus the organizing pockets helped store cables and cords for iPad, Kindle, and other tech devices as well.

Great Gift IdeaI was trying to figure out a gift for a co-worker who is a runner, swimmer, biker, etc and saw these on sale at the Container Store. I've had a set & used them for travel so thought this might be a unique gift for my co-worker (who I thought had everything). They work!!!I saw these demonstrated at a packing seminar and was not really convinced that they would be better than my own system, but I thought I would try & see how they worked. I just returned from Italy and was delighted to see how well they worked. I had used the original Pack It bags, but because they were dark colors you couldn't see through them & wasn't that happy with the idea. These are amazing. I can see what is inside & it was so easy to pack with them. Now I need to get more so I can do all my packing in them!

Amazing CompressionThese totally lightweight cubes hold a surprising amount, compressing the contents to about 1/2 of the original height. They work best with items that have a lighter weave than, say, jeans. They compress tank tops, dresses of poly/cotton or rayon, sweaters, men's briefs and undershirts very effectively. The filmy summer blouses now popular can be compressed so much that the larger cube can easily hold 8 of them. The lightweight makes them ideal for air travel. They would be easier to use if the zipper went all the way around but it's definitely not a deal breaker. The white color is opaque enough to identify contents. Used them for Europe, Hawaii and India - they were so good that I'm ordering more. Great, also, for packing an extra change of clothes, underwear etc. in my 17" carry-on in case my luggage is lost. There is a small but noticeable amount of extra space in my 26" bag after packing with these. They've become indispensable.

Best PurchaseI used them for the first time visiting my brother in LA. I couldn't believe how much I could stuff into them and the extra space it gave me. It wasn't a lot of extra space, but enough where I was able to pack a few more items that I bought during my trip. After my trip, I bought a few more in different colors so that the rest of the family can use during our next family trip.

light weight gemsi have never used more than a makeup kit to sort out my packed luggage. these are now my new go-to bags when for keeping clothing items sorted, especially when limited to one bag. keeps me more organized, and from digging around looking for little items that should be grouped together, without adding weight.

I would buy this product again...and I did!VERY lightweight, yet sturdy. I'm already a fan of the Eagle Creek pack-it system & have several of their cubes & folders. This time I was searching for a similar product, but lighter for an over-seas trip (since every pound/ounce these days can add up to $$). I was skeptical at first since they are so lightweight so I did a test run on a week long road trip. I over stuffed them on purpose & they held their ground. I knew I had a winner when my husband started singing their praises. In fact, I ended up getting him his own set so he won't steal mine. Love the smaller bag for the "little stuff" in my backpack that can get lost in big bags. Have used them now on several airplane & road trips. Oh, & on last flight I'm sure they helped us avoid extra baggage fees since we had more stuff added to the bag on the return flight. My husband was thrilled when he didn't have to pay extra for a overweight bag. The bags are money well spent!

Size Information - Yet again
I had a very difficult time finding the size of the large cube. Eventually, after about 10 min. of searching, I did find it in Q&A, many times in the different Eagle Creek sets.
It seems that this is a desired piece of info, so why not pro-actively help your customers and list all sizes for each item in the Eagle Creek sets - the blue one, the black one, the blue flowered one, and, of course, this one.
I upgraded my luggage and decided to purchase all new Eagle Creek items. In trying to find all of the translucent options and compare them, I clicked on Related Items, but none of them showed up - I really had to dig to find them.
Please make it easier to find all in a collection.
It would be great if the website had a chart that listed all Eagle Creek cubes, bags, and sets, with links to each.

Our apologies for the difficulty in locating the sizing information of our Specter Pack-It Cube Set. The three sizes of cubes in the set are listed in the fourth bullet located just under the copy block. Each set includes one Cube (14" x 10" x 3" h), one Half Cube (10" x 7" x 3" h) and one Quarter Cube (8" x 4" x 3" h).

Can the full-cube Spector Pack-It be purchased separately?
One can only assume that the large pack-it (full-cube) cannot be purchased separately since the smaller ones are offered individually, but the larger one only seems to be offered in the set of three.
I know I was able to purchase the Eagle Creek black and blue cubes individually in the past. Will the Spector ones be available?
