classy looking trash canI have been looking for a trash can for our bathroom for some time now. It's hard to find bathroom trash cans with a lid. My husband couldn't stand looking at the trash. This one is clever because while it is plastic, it has the look of metal. Very cute.

excellent trash canit is light weight, perfect size and great for my reception area. It is also inexpensive. I was looking for a trash can online for a long time, finally I gave up and went to the container store to see if I can find something suitable. Voila! it was great. I love it, it is also stylish.

Some reviewers commented on its "metalic-ness." It's plastic, so there's only so metallic it can get. Being plastic, I feel that calling it metallic is an accurate description. I have the two-tone grey waste basket and I love it. My puppy cannot get into it and it is descrete, but not so small that it needs to be emptied ever day. I have not found that I needed a plastic bag or liner. It is sturdy and the lid swings easily.

Like itI do like this trash can, but there are a couple things that bug. First, the color on the lid is different. It's not metallic, it's flat grey except the swinging door is metallic. It would have looked better if it was all the same color. Second, the lid doesn't fit that well and seems a tad flimsy. It would probably work better if you use a plastic liner, but I don't as I try not to use plastic bags. Overall, it looks pretty good and best of all your trash stays hidden!

Metallic but NOT Metal!"Metallic" in the title is a little misleading - this is just flimsy grey/silver plastic when I was expecting something to better complement the stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. I guess I should have read it more closely.

Very CuteDidn't plan on replacing the trash can in my office until I found this. It's small enough to fit under a desk, and the design is very cute. I had to buy it! Having a swing-lid is great too.

the perfect trash canI never thought much about trash cans/wastebaskets until we got our new dog Cody. Turns out Cody thought all the wastebaskets in the house were full of toys. I needed small trash cans with lids, but I also needed something that would look nice enough to put in our bathrooms and our bedroom. I ordered 4 of these, and they are perfect. I would use them in any room in the house, except for the living room or the kitchen.
It remains to be seen whether or not the new trash cans are Cody proof. I have high hopes.

Great looking trash canI ordered this for my boyfriend who just had his bathroom renovated. He changed the fixtures in the bathroom to brushed bronze, and this trash can matches just perfectly with them. It looks really nice, plus we love the lid that helps keep the dogs out of the trash. Great buy!

What size/type of rubbish bags can be used inside this bin, please?
