Slow close lidThis was perfect when we bought it and fits well in our kitchen, however, it has been maybe two weeks and the slow close lid mechanism is now broken. We purchased this specifically for that to try and be more mindful of our noise since we live on the top floor. I will definitely be exploring my exchange options, and as someone mentioned earlier, will check the reviews next time!

Looks great but ....The trash can looks great but it’s only day 2 of using it and the slow close lid is already broken. I wish I would have read reviews- this seems to be a real problem.

Great looking trash receptacle however....As with some other reviews the slow close mechanism has stopped working within two months on one of our cans ( we also have one for recycling and one for landfill). Very frustrating. :(

Slow Close Lid BreaksSlow close lid broke in less than 1 month of normal use. unbelievable loud banging sound when it closes. We had to fiddle with the mechanism and put some cardboard shims underneath the latch to close quietly. not great but its working for now. Not sure how long it will last. If it breaks again we'll be buying a different brand.

Slow close lid doesn't lastThis garbage can looks great and at first it worked good for us. We actually have 2 of them--1 for recycling and 1 for trash. The recycling one doesn't get used as frequently and it's still working good. The garbage one is used all the time and the slow close lid has broken and now it slams every time it's used. We've had it for 6 months. Yes it's taken a lot of wear in 6 months time but it still should last longer than 6 months, especially for the price. Very disappointing.

Slim Trash CanWe use this on the patio. It is great for all of the food and drink containers that get thrown away after meals. The removable liner is a big assist for cleaning. Love it.

Hi! Does this have any openings/holes on the bottom? We have ant issues so trying to avoid ways they can get into our trash.
