simplehuman 10 galontrash can is fantastic! If they weren't 159$, I would buy them and throw out all of my other trash cans.
Also, it came with free trash liners, they are the wrong size. Disappointing.

Love my new can!The Simplehuman Touch Bar Can came very quickly. It was easy to assemble and love that they came with their own garbage bags. This looks great that you don't have to hide it under a cabinet. Also, the lid opens with a touch of the button. So even if your hands are full or messy you can use your knee or elbow. My children thinks it is pretty cool too!

Fabulous Product!It's just a trash can, but I love it! The slim design fits and looks great in my kitchen. My toddlers always had a difficult time throwing away their trash with our step pedal trash can; not anymore. It's also easy for me to scrape the dinner plates and do general meal time clean up since the lid stays up with an easy press of the bar. Other designs I've seen require you to not only open the lid with a step pedal or touch bar, but lock the lid in place with a switch to keep the lid open.
I use a standard Costco 13-gal kitchen trash bag and it fits perfectly. My trash bags use to always rip in my old, round shape Barbantia trash can. But, with the simplehuman rectangular shape, I've had no rips. Plus, with this design, the trash bag does not stick out of the trash can. Very sleek. Efficiently holds a good amount of trash for my family of four and when I have house gatherings.
