Is this can narrower at the bottom than the stated size?

I have a very narrow pull-out cabinet in the kitchen and am looking for a trash bin that will fit in it. The bottom of the bin needs to be no more than 5 1/2" wide. It can taper out to wider at the top and still fit. So I need to know the width at the bottom of the bin. Thanks!
