measure measure measure the full dimensionsMeasure the full dimensions of your cabinets because as it says it "fits most" cabinets. It looked awesome but it will not fit around any pipes or garbage disposals nor if you have a small shelf in the same cabinet. Bummer that I will have to return it, I wish their were more details of the demensions on the website.

terrific trash transportThis is so much better than the old pull out trash can I had. For one thing it is much more sturdy. You can jam trash into it even when it is pulled out, without compromising the runners. For another, the double barrel aspect allows us to get our recycling in there too. I read a few reviews complaining that the bins are small. For me this is actually a plus, because if they were any bigger they wouldn't fit in the cabinet under the sink. If you have a gallon jug, just step on it before you toss it in there. Or in our case, we let the puppy flatten it first. Then it is double recycled - milk container to dog toy to bin filler.
I also like the fact that the bins are black and blue. My old one was white, and quickly became stained.

Easy to install, great sizeI love being able to have the recycling and the garbage in the same spot without taking up too much space ... and still have a large enough container that I'm not emptying all the time. It is the perfect size, easy to install, and fixed the problem of having our recycling in the pantry.

Great for a small kitchenThis under sink unit freed up precious floor space in our kitchen. It was very easy to install, glides smoothly and is well made. The bins aren't very large, but it will hold a couple of days worth of trash and recycling - and who wants to leave the rubbish in your house for longer than that?! We are using 13 gallon bags in the trash bin, they aren't overly large, and they are much more affordable than the Simple Human 8 gallon bags.
I highly recommend this product, it is worth every penny.

Best Idea EverI hate the space a trash can takes up in my small kitchen since I live in a somewhat confined 1BR in Brooklyn. Since I got this under the counter trash bin, I consistently separate recycling from trash and I don't have to deal with the smell of garbage. Also, the small size forces me to take out the trash more often!

Perfect for my condoThis product fit the dimensions perfectly for under my sink at the new condo that I purchased. I didn't think that I would find one that would fit in my narrow opening and still have the 2 bins so that I could hold both my trash and recycling. Since I live alone, I don't have to empty more than once a week when I have garbage collection. Great find!

Best recycler!!! 10/10 Would recommendVery well designed. Rolls smoothly. You can easily put the smaller recycler 1st and trash in the back. It's just a great product and does everything you want it to. Won't cook you dinner, though.
The designers at simple human know what they're doing.

2-Bin Pull-Out RecyclerOptimum use of the space below sink cabinets is difficult to achieve. The 2-Bin Pull Out Recycler by simplehuman is a superb product for the efficient use of this space. The area on the right side of my sink cabinet was 100% used with the installation of this product. It fit perfectly with less than an eighth of an inch to spare. The installation was easy and the included fasteners were adequate. We now have easily accessible trash and recycle containers in the kitchen that disappear when we close the sink cabinet door.

Best QualityI highly recommend this product. It was easy to install, is very sturdy and glides so smoothly. I have a small cabinet under the sink and it fits so well! Note that it uses 8 Gal bags. For us this worked out well as we transfer the full 8 gal bags to a garbage compactor. Any larger would be too big for the compactor.

Efficient use of spaceA must have for small kitchens, efficient use of space for a waste and recycling bin. The tall and narrow bins cannot hold a lot, and the recycling bin in particular cannot hold more than two or three large items like milk jugs or 2-litre bottles. Assembly is a little tricky, considering the install is inside a cabinet. Also, the screws provided are slightly harder than butter -- be prepared to use your own.

Love this item!I got this item because I have a small kitchen, and wanted my trashcan and recycling bin put out of the way. This is great, especially since I live by myself, and don't go through a lot of trash and recycling in a week. The only thing I wish it had were lids on the trashcan because I discovered mice in my apartment, and they climb through the trash to eat leftover food. Ugh! Other than that, it's a great product.

Great garbage solutionI needed a garbage solution for our new (older) house. With a tiny galley style kitchen there was nowhere for a garbage container that wasn't in front of something. This unit fit great under the sink, and I positioned it so that I could just open the door a tad to dispose of small kitchen sink junk. Perfect! Very happy with purchaseIt's as sturdy as advertised and rolls very easily. Love it. The 2 cons I had with it were logistically, it was a little difficult for me to install the back screws. And in order to remove the back bin once installed, the front one has to be removed first. However it is neat and convenient and these were not enough to outweigh the pros.

A true essential for small spacesThis product has completely eliminated the buildup of garbage bags and recyclables in my small NYC apartment . Everything is so organized and tucked out of sight. Too SmallThe cans are very tiny. For a family of 4 we would be taking the garbage out every hour! Good quality but just to small.
In the video I see two different bin options - one large black one, or two bins, one which is black and the other blue. Do all three bins come with the kit, or do you specify if you want the one or two bin model?

Will the recycling bags fit in the garbage bin? We were told at the store that yeh garbage bags were just regular plastic bags and we prefer not to use plastic, so can we put the recycling bags there instead? Not sure because of the different bin sizes

No, each bin is a different size and will require different custom liners. For example, the blue bin is 15L and works with D liners. The black bin is 20L and works with G liners. Thank you for your question. We hope this helps.
