how do I remove the pull out rail?

that would include the base below the slide to the height that the basket must clear.

Is there a trash can that is compatible with a depth of 14” since a pipe under the sink tends to block the receptacle

This would not fit with a space that has a depth of 14", the product needs to have a space with a depth of 17-1/2" or more
