Great-looking storage!I love this for toy storage that still looks sophisticated! It's nice that they can be stacked or used on their own. They're relatively straightforward, if a little time-consuming, to put together. My biggest complaint is with the amount of packaging - there is SO much styrofoam. I'd love to buy this product with packaging that makes a smaller impact on our environment.

Straightforward Build and Looks NiceI don't understand that comments/confusion about putting these together, with or without instructions. The instructions can be slightly clearer but it's fairly intuitive. I put four together in just over an hour. They look great and my only complaint is that one of the pieces had paint missing but this portion was in the back and not visible. If you've ever put furniture together this should present no problem.

Like them but don’t love themThese bins are ok. The functionality is great. And (so far) they seem pretty sturdy. My only issue is the material. I wanted the “reclaimed wood” look but you can tell it’s just laminate that was glued to particle board. There are funky white lines all over it. It was too much of a pain to return and they’re just used for storage, so we decided to keep them.

Toy Room upgradeI was looking for bins that were heavy duty and harder for my children to dump. These are perfect for our smaller space in playroom. They are deep and fit a lot of toys, books, etc. Because they are sturdy and stationary they are serving the purpose of keeping the toys in them rather than being dumped all over. I have the singles which can be stacked or stand alone and I also have the double which has a nice top and can hold a decorative basket or pillows. Loving our new organization pieces at a great price!

Perfect solutionThis was the perfect solution for storing my daughter's ever-expanding collection of stuffed animals. I let her keep as many as she can stuff in the compartments, and that corner of her room finally looks tidy. We also love that it works as a window seat for small folks. The only think I didn't like was the extreme amount of styrofoam it was packed in that I had to dispose of. You would think in this day and age a different method would be possible.

HARD to put togetherThe directions look simple ha nearly impossible to do. It’s still sitting in my floor not put together. Nothing lines up correctly to work. Unless you have someone handy don’t mess with it or it’ll become trash or return. Not sure how someone handy can do it since it just won’t line up even close.

Great organizerThis is nice looking in Rustic Driftwood color and it's great as as a storehouse for random odds and ends --to keep a room organized. I have 3 stacked vertically. I found construction to be tricky and would recommend having a handyman assemble, unless you are a skilled do it yourself type.

Great for big readersWe read a lot of books and frequent the library. Each kid(4) has their own books to keep up with. This is our "book bin." It's sophisticated and functional.

Change color over time?
I like the white bins, however, i've had other white furniture before that has turned yellow over time. Will this happen with your bins?

I've had it for six months and the paint comes off and sticks to my kids toys as if it was fresh paint. Then the area where the paint comes off, you can see the wood and turns yellow.

Are screw holes visible?
Does this unit have concealed screw holes? Can you see where the screws are, or are they covered? If covered, is it a plug or sticker?

All hardware attachments are made from the interior of our Nantucket Stackable Storage Bin. There is no visibility of the hardware from the exterior.

Does this product require the California warning for proposition 65 ? Or does it not have any of those chemicals ?

Our Nantucket Stackable Storage Bin is CARB compliant with California's Composite Wood Products Regulation having to do with reducing formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products.

Can you stack two single bins on top of this double?
I want to expand the two single units I have by putting them on top of a double but not sure if the trim on the sides would get in the way. Am I better to get two more singles and place them side by side?
