Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why isnt this a drawer? It was all taped up, but thought it was a drawer. I wouldnt have bout it otherwise. Thanks to the other review which says to swap out the egg part for a drawer bin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks Cool Too Tall I decided to swap this out for the regular egg carton. I have a short shelf that perfectly fit the regular carton. This bin does not fit. It is way taller than it needs to be so it ends up taking up more space in my fridge. Really not worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 23 eggs + BEAUTIFUL! i swapped the top of the egg container out for the drawer from the divided drawer and put the top on the divided draw instead... so nice to be able to pull the drawer out for the eggs... i wish the draw surrounds were sold separately... as now i want another for the divided draw... what a help this is to a family of 5 with a regular sized fridge! SO Beautiful too!!! OH and you can add a second row of 8 more eggs for a total of 23!

why would this egg container be made for 15 eggs and not 18 or 24?

Asked by: Leonora
Most people buy a dozen eggs. Instead of buying another dozen after you're already run out, you can do your next grocery run when you're running low (say you have 3 eggs left) and they will all fit. Makes perfect sense.

What kind of drawer did you use for the egg container?

Asked by: margspat
The Home Edit Egg Bins have lift-off lids, so they do not open from the front like a drawer.
