The small basket is 12-3/4" x 9", the large basket is 17-1/2" x 13-1/2"

The dimensions of or Small Palm Leaf Basket will depend of how the basket is oriented on the storage surface. It can be 13-1/4" wide x 9-1/2" deep or, alternately, 9-1/2" wide x 13-1/4" deep.

Would 8 1/2 X 11 paper fit inside the small basket?
The measurements are usually for the outside of the basket so it's hard to tell if paper would actually fit inside them.

The interior of our Small Palm Leaf Bin measures approximately 12-3/4" x 9" and the interior of our Medium Palm Leaf Bin measures approximately 14-1/2" x 10-1/2".
We say "approximately" since these bins are handmade and each is unique and may vary.
