not small enoughAs someone with a lot of shoes I was looking to store more. These boxes are well made but for my flats I find them too big. It would be great if you offered these in a lower height as well to stack more.

Too SmallI'm a women's size 10 shoe and these boxes are too small for my shoes. I measured my shoes against the interior dimensions that were given for the boxes and found that my shoes won't fit even though the product's description says that it will fit a women's size 11 shoe. Make sure to measure before you purchase!

Very cheap quality - do not buyI got this to organize some shoes in my laundry room. What I got was of dollar store quality. The plastic is so flimsy and shaky. The quality is so low I cannot believe that this is actually sold for sixty bucks. Seriously do not buy this. It's not worth a fraction of its cost.

The latches are always breaking.I bought 20 of these a year ago. The latches don't open and close easily. Eventually they break off and you have to tape the boxes shut, which defeats the purpose. The boxes could be so much better if the latches were perhaps one inch wider. I hope the manufacturer reads this and fixes the design, because otherwise they're very practical.

A piece of artI ordered these online and thankfully there were no stickers on any of the cases. One of the cases was cracked on top but I put it as the bottom stack and no one will know. I have a lot of ankle boots and platform heels they couldn’t stand up on the case but they fit laying on their sides. I was able to even put 2 pairs of some shoes in 1 box. For reference I am shoe size female 6.5/male 4.5

Great shoe organizerI bought this a few weeks ago and it has made my life so much easier when I have to look for which sneaker to wear. I can clearly see which shoe is what and not have to dig through my shoe boxes, saves so much time and less stressful lol. Its sturdy and easy to use and the boxes come assembled!!

WHY THE STICKER!!!This shoe storage would get 5 start easily if not for the HUGE STICKER ON THE DROP DOWN LID. PUT IT ON THE BOTTOM! I ORDERED 24 OF THESE AND HAVE SPENT HOURS AND HOURS PEELING THIS STICKER OFF. NOT EASILY DONE!

OrganizationHonestly, I got tired of looking at the different colors, sizes, and shapes of shoe boxes in my closet. I would often stumble upon cute shoes I purchased a few years back (out of sight, out of mind). Since I had a little time on my hands during the beginning of the pandemic, I ordered a few drop-front boxes (small and large). I love that the boxes organizes and tidies up my closet.
However, there are a few flaws. The closing tab is flimsy so you must be careful opening and closing it. Also, some of my shoes did not fit in the traditional way (had to lay them on the side or opposite directions). Lastly, the boxes took up a lot of space in my closet.

THE STICKERSEchoing another review. I bought 24 of these and it’s been SO annoying to get the large sticker off of each drop-front window. I tried Goo Gone on some and soap and water and a sponge on others and it seems like there’s no way to scrub it off clean without creating scratches on the clear plastic. So stupid.

What I neededI read almost all of the reviews before buying these. I ordered 2 sets online and had them shipped. Mine did not come with a sticker on the front. I loved that you get 6 individual boxes so that you can arrange however you want, it was not obvious to me if that would be the case.
I can see why people are unhappy with the tabs for opening and closing they are pretty flimsy, hence my 4 stars. I’ve just resigned myself to not close all the way on shoes a wear frequently.
Some of my wedge and heels are too tall to stand up, but I just lay them in like the come in the shoe boxes, that wasn’t really important to me as much as decluttering the bottom of my 50s in wall closet courtesy of the Bay Area.

Ingenious Shoe StorageVery pleased with this product. I've stacked 2 sets of 3 shoe boxes in each of my closets. I wear 8-1/2's so these are not teensy petite shoes I'm fitting comfortably in to the Small Drop-Front Shoe Boxes. My bulkier shoes fit one pair per box but 2 pairs of strappy high heels will fit handily into a single box. The products is well-made and sturdy, there is no caving in or bending of the plastic and the drop-front opening is easy to use. My closets look neater and cleaner now that I was able to recycle all of those old shoe boxes. And I can actually visualize the shoes inside the clear plastic for easy selection, another bonus over cardboard shoe boxes.

Long term storingBought these a year ago to replace the cardboard boxes my shoes came in. After several moves, the cardboard boxes were starting to break so I needed something that could hold up longer. A few things I found:
1. These don’t click together so put heavy shoes on the bottom or they will fall over.
2. The doors do click so push down slightly on the tab to open.
3. Flats can be doubled up in one bin.
As a reference, I’m a size 9.5 in woman’s & 8 in men’s & my shoes have less than 1/2” left before they would hit the door. If these could click together & link up it would be 5 stars.

A Change was NeededAs a lover of footwear, I have always prided myself on caring for them. I used to have the open display shelf (think of book shelf but for shoes) which was great, the only problem was the dust. Shoes that did not get as much wear, would have a slight dust build-up. (No it was not my cleaning habits) I purchased the small drop front boxes in clear and am quite happy. They can be stacked in different ways allowing you to maximize the space in your closet or create your own unique design. They interlock vertically, but not horizontally, however, you can stack them close together, side by side. I purchased over 30 and did not have any issues with any of them. I like the ability that you can see all of your shoes at one time. The only downside, the small ones will not accommodate heels over 4 inches standing up vertically. Not a deal breaker for me, I placed mine on their side and they still fit in the box. My shoes are a size 8. I will be ordering more. The clear go nice with any decor. I will be purchasing more.

Versatile uses!!!! SHOES AND MORE!I filled a closet with them. All shoes are now organized! Then, due to the pandemic, I started sewing. I discovered fabric folded end over end,on Classic size Comic boards fit perfectly! I can stack about 8 yds in each box.

Love these, but....So I originally purchased 2 boxes which contained a total of 12 shoe boxes and loved how organized everything looked. So I decided to order more, only this time they were sold out and were backed ordered when I tried purchasing the box of 6. I then purchased 6 boxes, which were labeled for individual sale. The thing is they placed the labels right on the clear plastic.I was able to remove 3 labels from 3 boxes, but the other 3 are a complete mess. Why would anyone place labels on a clear plastic which is meant to be to view what shoes are in there?

Do NOT purchase theseI have been a customer and fan of The Container Store for years and I had the individual shoe boxes that had their tops that clicked on the top like a traditional shoe box. I bought these thinking they they would be a an easier way to store my shoes and get at them. They were garbage. They arrived broken and the doors have continued to break. They don’t stay stacked. They are cheap garbage and not something I would have expected The Container Store to carry. I am terribly disappointed and don’t want anyone else to waste their money or time on these.

Great organizers but could use one minor modificatI bought 2 sets each of the small and large drop-front shoe boxes (case of 6). I use the small sets for my shoes and I have several flats and it seems like one minor improvement would be an addition of a divider to put two pairs of flats into one box. There seems to be so much wasted space for just one pair. Otherwise, these are great for all other types of shoes.
