I have purchased three of these to stack in my daughter's room for toy storage, and I am pleased with them so far. I plan to stack the Nantucket Stackable Storage Bins next to the tower of three to accomplish the look like in one of the example photos. Putting them together is a breeze, with one cube taking 15 minutes or less. My only complaints are that they don't come with wall-mounting hardware, and on two of my cubes the paint finish chipped off around the holes for the cam locks.

Great looking, compact storageWe ordered 3 cubes to stack on top of each as well as 2 of the grey baskets. It looks great and fits into a small corner of our basement; however, the assembly seemed overly complicated for such a simple design. It took longer than anticipated and required a power drill and screwdriver. We love the final look, though!

Love it, but there is one thing...It took time for me to understand the instruction. The thing is that it shows only pictures to explain how to put together. It would be helpful to have at least one sentence to describe each step. Well... after all, I figured it out. Because I love the product, I ordered one more. I will have much easier time to assemble for the second one. Once you figure it out, it is pretty straight forward.

Ok be ready to drill....This item turned out ok and looks good, clean and streamlined. But the “predrilled” holes were nonexistent we had to drill all of them and one of the cubes is a little off center. The item is good just be prepared to have some tools ready and more time the Allen wrench won’t be enough.

Great for in the bathroomI was looking for something not too big for in my bathroom to store my towels and bathroom toiletries since I don’t have a cabinet attached to my bathroom sink. My husband and I bought 4 of these in a brown color since my bathroom tile is a lighter beige the brown brings out the color of the tiles. We stacked all 4 and I put my bath towels on the shelves, my toiletries on another and my cleaning supplies in the last one and it looks nice and neat without taking up too much space and even makes my bathroom look bigger. Loved it and so happy I found something

Colors have different quality?I bought the driftwood colors blocks and they seem very sturdy and high quality however there are lines in the wood. I’m not sure if it’s part of the driftwood esthetic or flaws but I’ll return and get a new color

Great spacesaverI just got these shelves for a small room, and once I figured out how to put them together, it was just a breeze, the steps outlined were not hard to follow and I got the two shelves I bought up in no time. They are great for my games, books and any other items I need them for and can double as a nightstand as well if needed.

Great for craft roomThese were just what I needed for my office; soon-to-be craft room. Hubby was not too crazy about doing the assembly, but it all went together pretty quickly. Since my room is in transition, I like that I will be able to reconfigure these later on. They are quite sturdy and look great.

Beware!This may look like an stylish shelving tower that you could use in all sorts of places.
However...the "light assemby required" is a joke.
Each "shelf" has five seperate pieces of melamine with various holes drilled in sideways, top and bottom. There are pages of instructions....as well as all sorts of metal pieces that need to screwed in but the holes are poorly set up so nothing fits securely.
After laboring over the first "shelf" and realizing we needed to do 2 more before we could start assembling the tower....we realized this product had a fancy name but a frustrating design...The store was very nice about handling the return.

Yes! I just put a couple hundred in them today. The dimensions are just a hair greater than the size of an album/LP/vinyl/33 1/4. They easily hold the weight. I don't think I'll go above 3 cubes. Once you fill them up, these babies are not going anywhere.

How many high can you stack?
How many can you safely stack on top of one another?

Don't tell anyone, but I have stacked five high. They are snuggled between a desk and two walls and have hundreds of pounds of records on them! I wouldn't feel comfortable with them free standing that high of course.
I'm about to order more, I need to build another tower to store my 78's in!

Placement of feet on bottom of unit
I see that the depth of the Vario Stackable Cubby Shelf is 14” D, but would this rest stable-y on a shelf that is 12”D based on where the feet are on the unit?

No, you have to buy the basket separately. They also have a fabric bin that fits.
