Perfect hanging hooksPurchase two sets of these hooks. I have elfa closet systems installed in my closets. The hooks are great to hang hats scarf etc. you will be surprised how these hooks can be used. Glad I purchased them. The only thing that vomesuyobmind though... not sure how these hooks would work in a traditional/standard closet that are built in homes or apartments.

get loose over timeThe metal these are made from is a little too bendable, so over time they become less securely clipped on to the shelf and start sliding around, or even coming off the shelving when you pick up the item hanging from them.
You can re-tighten them by bending them, but they quickly loosen again.
Not great for hanging items you will be using regularly.

I'm Hooked!I was looking for hooks to store my children's backpacks, coats in our small laundry/mud room and couldn't find anything that would fit my shelving until I saw the InterMetro Snap on Hooks. I initially bought a four pack to hang my children's backpacks and they worked so well, that I went back and bought two other packages because we have the same shelving in our garage. We now also hold small shovels, and gardening supplies in our garage making it much easier to find. The hooks snap in place and don't move and fit the shelving perfectly.

Could be BetterThese hooks are nice, but they would fit more utensils if they were made a bit more narrow in width. These will fit the holes in most pans, I think, but the holes in spatulas and whisks, for example, will be too small.

They are greatWe love these hooks. We use them on the end of the shelves by our basement entry door for our many sets of keys. I also use them to hang plastic grocery bags and fill with other bags, easy to grab off the hooks when going to the store to recycle them. Glad I bought them.

A simple hookIt's a simple J-hook that does it's job. Sturdy and very functional when clipped onto Intermetro shelving. I do agree with other reviewers in that the base of the hook is wide, which can limit your ability to hang certain items.

Hooks are too wide for most of my utensils.I ordered these hooks from the web site to hang my kitchen utensils from- spoons, spatulas, whisks, etc. Turns out that only half of my untensils have a hole wide enough to fit on these hooks, which are 3/8" wide at all points along their length.
The design is good otherwise, just be aware: If you are buying these with the intent of hanging your utensils, make sure your utensils have holes large enough to accommodate them.

Too wide to hang most thingsThe hooks are well made and look nice, but they didn't work to hang either my cat litter scoop or my dust pan because they are made out of flat strips of metal, measuring about a quarter inch wide, instead of round wire. You have to have very large hang holes on your items for these to be useful to you.

Dry kitchen towelsThese InterMetro snap-on hooks are exactly what I needed to hang a few kitchen towels on my Kitchen InterMetro shelving unit. Now my towels can completely dry and I don't have to hang them on the oven door handle or on door knobs!! There are so many possiblities when you consider the InterMetro components!!

Can InterMetro Snap-On hooks be used on rubbermaid shelving? I live in a new house with Rubbermaid shelving and am looking for hooks that I can use.

Can these hooks be used to hold the garment rack hanger rod?

Can these hooks be used with the metro commercial shelves?

These hooks will fit both InterMetro and Metro Commercial shelves.
However, the color of the hooks will not quite match the Metro components. (InterMetro hooks are silver, but Metro shelves are chrome.)
