Definitely great add on to tier shelvesI bought this as an add on to my intermetro shelves for my kitchen and I gotta say it’s been fabulous. I have a small convection oven that sits on top and it can take the heat. Definitely would buy again.

Love These!I bought numerous sizes for a large project I was working on as I have several chrome wire shelving units, and wanted clear ones which seemed hard to find anywhere. I stumbled on these at the local Container Store, and they are great! Because my shelving units are not Metro, there were slight size differences (to be expected), but these are easy to cut. At first, I thought the surface was a bit sticky - once you peel off protective wrapping wipe down with a damp cloth, then wipe dry.

The best thing everI have a beautiful new makeup vanity table in white. I bought a glass panel to protect it from makeup but I didn’t like how it look it was not the right size.
I finally decided to go the container store.
There’s I found what the needed The shelve liner was excellent almost just the right measurements all I need was to cut off 4 inches.
It was perfect Protection for the surface of my beautiful vanity table.

Perfect for the jobI bought these so the jars in my pantry wouldn't make the wire shelves bow in the middle. These were perfect! They were easy to cut with scissors so I could make them fit exact on all shelves. Lightweight but sturdy enough to hold the weight. Perfect solution!

price tags on linersThe price labels are hard to remove - very sticky. WHile trying to get one off a layer of the liner started to com off so I stopped. I left the rest on.
The liners are thick and durable.
Also, the labels on all the Intermetro shelving are also hard to remove. I left them on too.

Not just shelf liners...also lifesavers!Are you sick and tired of things on your wire shelf falling through the cracks? Are you tired of lines on your boxes? These shelf liners are amazing. The 48" liners fit my shelf perfectly even though i measured them around 47" and change. I peeled the protected backing off of some and left the non-barcoded side on others for that frosted look. I love them and want more! At 10 bucks a piece, its not too big an expense. Still cheaper han buying a new set of shelves!

Custom cut is no troubleI was very pleased to learn the shelving could be customized by height. I like stand alone shelving--I'm not very good with permanent materials. I needed a system that would fit inside a closet but I wanted to leave the current clothing rod and shelf in place. In an on-line chat with Customer Service I discovered the poles could be cut to my specification without impacting my ability to pick it up same day. The product is extremely easy to put together and very strong. I added the shelf liners to mimic solid shelving and it works very well. Nothing slips through the slats.

Shelf LinersThese liners are great. They are crystal clear (after you peel off the protection sheets) and fit the shelf (mine was 48" long) perfectly. No cutting! Gives the shelves a nice clean look. Tempted to line my closet shelves with them.

Peal it! It's really clear - promiseThis liner can take a beating. Like the mitered corners. I had purchased this a long time ago - and also was upset it wasn't clear - doh - you have to peel it - it really does have two protective covers. This time around, pealed the liner (both sides) and it's perfectly clear and strong- keep stuff from moving around or wobbling on the open rows of the rack shelf.

VersatileThis liner is very helpful storing as small items on InterMetro shelving units. Also, if you cut it by the pieces of a required size - you are getting very versatile separators. I personally cut the pieces to separate two layers of vertically stored CD: 1st layer CDs + a piece of this liner + 2nd layer of CDs - best way to organize the CD collection

PerfectThese shelf liners work really well and I have used them multiple times.
I actually bought these to lay on top of a shelving system my husband bought from a home improvement store (this other store didn't have anything like it). We had to cut them to fit, but that is to be expected since it is a different shelving system. They were easy to cut. After he spent days trying to install a shelving system from a home improvement store, multiple trips buying and returning pieces, he finally agreed to only use Elfa going forward.

If you have Intermetro shelves, you need these!I bought two shelving solutions as well as shelf liners, and I'm so glad! I've had another Intermetro shelf in the past, and didn't have liners, which limited what I could use the shelves for. Now appliance feet don't catch, and I can easily slide containers & smaller items where I need them. If you are thinking of getting an Intermetro shelving solution, don't forget the liners!

Perfect!I bought the InterMetro serving cart to hold my microwave and other small kitchen appliances. When I couldn't decide between the solid shelf or the wire shelf for the top, the sales associate suggested I get the wire shelf and use the Metro Clear Shelf Liner for underneath the microwave. It works great! So well, in fact, that I went back and bought liners for the other shelves!

Best liners ever !!!!!!!Just am completing lining all my shells on my dressing room with these liners! They are easy to cut, and when you install them they're clear as glass . Itslike there not there !!! They are a little pricey compared to other plastic liners but they are in a class of their own and worth it !!

make life easierI've had the commercial shelving for years and used the clear shelf liners on the elfa products I purchased, but I finally made my life easier by purchasing the commercial shelf liners. These are great!shelf liners allow me to put little knick-knacks amongst the files and boxes on my wall-high bank of shelves. And with 2 sizes, I can use them where needed for storing smaller items, but not when it's just boxes. Very nice!

Necessary for my applicationI use shelf liners on all my Container Store shelving, Metro, Elfa. I am currently using the metro cart to store home canned vegetables from our summer garden. It makes the entire shelf surface usable for the jars to sit safely even to the very edge. They seem durable and I will continue to shop at Container Store for shelving in the future.

FRIENDS!!! They ARE Clear.These liners are great for the inter metro shelving. They are made to fit perfectly and they do. Using these liners, thinner items won't fall between the spaces. With these you get more use of your shelves.
THEY ARE CLEAR. Though they appear opaque at purchase, the opaque sheet serves as protection until you peel it off. It peels off on both sides leaving a "water clear" liner you can barely see.
I hope this helps you decide, since there are many reviews that state these are not clear.

Fit perfectly!Wasn't sure I'd need this, but it turned out to be a great buy! It protects the hems of dresses, etc from getting caught on the wire bottom rack (not sure if they'd get caught, but I just wanted to be sure!)
It fits perfectly. Be careful when opening it with scissors as it'll scratch the plastic.

Works perfectly for the jobThese liners work wonderfully for keeping narrow items upright. Things like small jars, cereal boxes, etc. I was not sure if they would be flexible or rigid. They are flexible, but thick enough to be a solid under layer your stuff.

Metro "Clear" Shelf LinersLiners are fine, but they are NOT CLEAR............
the liners are TRANSLUCENT'.
Another FAQ answer says "The Metro Clear Shelf Liners are transparent." However, when purchased they look frosted white. One person in the reviews mentioned "peeling away a protective layer" (paraphrasing), another said a layer started coming off when they tried removing the price tag so they stopped pulling out of fear of damaging the liners. I've used these for years, and it's in *no* way apparent that there might be a protective coating that might be peeled away, it's certainly not in the product description at all (other than "brilliantly clear", which leaves out the mechanics of any coating.)

I stand corrected! They are indeed clear once you remove the protective liners. There's nothing to show that there is anything to peel,, but sure enough, there is! Crystal clear!

Will this hold my lightweight LCD TV?
I have the 'intermetro' stand with shelves and was just given a 'new to me' larger-screen TV. Will this work for a base? My old tv had a rectangle stand; new one has skinny legs that won't fit on the stand as it is, but need a solid surface.

I believe the shelf holds 500lbs? This is what's supporting the weight of the TV, not the shelf liner. So you should be good.

I would highly recommend using a straight edge and box cutter, but not scissors. Of course, I do like things to be exact. If you're not so picky, go for it. Scissors will work.

Are these liners slick? i.e. will baskets slide easily in and out on top of them, or will they stick?
I want to use these liners on painted shelves, to avoid wearing off the paint as items are set on and removed from the shelves. But want the items to slide easily on and off, not stick if the liner is more rubbery than slick.

Yes. As long as you have the standard size shelves, the standard size liners fit these shelves.
