How to securely lock plastic sleeves
The plastic sleeves won't stay put no matter how I attach them to the poles. My shelf is still sitting in a box in my kitchen because no one can figure out how to securely attach the sleeves ;(

There are grooves at 1-inch intervals along the length of each InterMetro Pole. Starting from the bottom of your shelving solution, apply Shelf Sleeves (slightly bell-shaped or flared edge to the bottom) at the desired height of the bottom shelf. (A properly attached Sleeve should lock into the groove of the pole.) Now, slide the first/bottom shelf down and tap the edges with a plastic mallet to make sure it is secure. Repeat with subsequent shelves, adding as you go up. For further assistance, please contact us at 1-888-CONTAIN (266-8246).

What is the distance between shelves?
I am trying to decide b/w this and the special (can't remember the exact name) that is very much the same in terms of number of shelves and shelf size, but taller. Is height the only difference? what is the measurement between each shelf on each? Thank you.

Are the feet adjustable?
Our basement floors have a bit of a slope and other shelves always tip forward. Do the feet have little screws that raise and lower them to keep the shelves from wobbling?
