Love this Media CenterLooks great and has saved us so much more space than our previous TV stand. It also stores so much without looking cluttered (TV, all our DVDS, blu-rays, video games, xbox, kinect, wii, controllers, blu ray player, cable box, and more space to spare!!) Husband and brother put it together pretty quickly and easily. We ordered online and called ahead to pick it up at the back of the store. Customer service was fantastic and we didn't even have to get out of our car. Love, love, love.

Our children are grown and gone, we have suffered many ups and downs throughout our 32 years of marriage, now all I want is a peaceful, joyful, happy life. I have discovered effa! It has made my life so much better. I wish I had it when my kids were growing up. It helps me to organize and get my house into the zone where eveything is put away and it is a joy to walk through the door at the end of a long day. Our house has become our refuge. I hope that everyone that reads this finds this too. Just take your idea into one of the elfa experts and they will design a beautiful space that is perfect for you!
Can the middle shelves be cut to fit a smaller space? Instead of them being 25" and 24", can they be cut to be 18" and 17"?

How much space is between the shelves and the wall? Enough to fit a .80 inch wire cover?

How much weight will the top shelf hold?
We are looking at a TV that weighs just under 30 lbs. Would it be too heavy for the top shelf?

Since the weight capacity can be affected by many things like wall construction, the items stored, and the installation process itself, we do not have a specific weight capacity for the elfa shelving. If installed properly and used with the elfa system of hardware, hanging standards, brackets & shelves, it will support a considerable amount of evenly distributed weight. A a television weighing about 30 pounds should be well within the tolerance for this solution, if it is installed properly.
