One of my best purchases!I purchased one years ago and now purchased a second. It is very well made, heavy enough to be very sturdy. I am using one as an end table and the other in front of and over my loveseat to use as
a small table for my laptop, to eat on, to write on, and all kinds of things. And instructions for assembly were clear, and assembly was very easy.

Great solution for pantry!I moved into a new rental and didn’t want a permanent solution to a tricky pantry. Wanted to put small appliances out of site, yet accessible. Staff worked and worked to find a solution and I love it! Looks nice and is functional. Product is versatile and could be used elsewhere if needed. Love the container store and their great customer service! They don’t give up! Now to work on the top half!

Nice little tableThis is a nice little table. Easy to construct. Holds the stuff I need it to hold. Useful to have two people to construct it, but can be constructed by one. Wish it came in birch.
One con: It's too low to fit over the arms of any of the four couches I own. But it makes a good end-table.

Small but sturdyThis is a small but very sturdy little table that fits in small spaces, but because it is made of durable metal, it holds heavy objects. I have a small laundry room. I bought ithe table for a small space between my washing machine and the wall. The table holds a medium-sized bottle of detergent.Now I don’t have to reach up to a cabinet to get the detergent. And there is space under the table to put something else.
I went back and bought two more of these tables because they were on sale, and because I can use them on my patio near two outdoor chairs. It’ll hold a couple of drinks and a small dish. They are very practical.

Great in our living room!We recently moved and downsized. Attempting to streamline with a new sofa and utilizing our mid-century modern decor, these C-tables have been extremely functional and attractive. The tables fit into our decor perfectly and we each use them for different purposes. Love how they fit snug into the sofa or beside the chair so that we can use each for a multitude of purposes. I've even moved one next to my desk when needed for additional work-space.

Sturdy and easy to put togetherI bought two and put them together while my husband took a shower. He couldn't believe they'd gone together so fast! They don't feel wobbly or cheap.

Great product!I gave these to my elderly mother and her sister for Christmas, and the love them! They use them for meals, and keeping things close at hand. Easily slide out of the way when not in use. Would also be handy bedside.

Great PurchaseI ordered 2 of these to be shipped to me in Canada and I'm very happy with them. As my first purchase from the Container Store, I was a little apprehensive, but I'm very happy with how it all turned out. The tables are very nice quality. They have a nice looking finish and they're quite sturdy. Since I got them on sale, even after exchange, shipping and border costs, it was still cheaper to order 2 of these than it would have been to pick up 1 similar item around here (which is exceptionally rare to find when ordering from the US to Canada - we usually get gouged on shipping and additional charges, so much so that once you see it all added up in your cart, you realize it's not worth it). I would definitely recommend purchasing this table if you're thinking about it! Great value for the money.

Absolutely perfect!Love, love, love the anthracite C-table. It's handsome, sturdy, and practical. I've seen other C-tables which are 'wobbly' and likely to tip .... this table is SOLID. It's wonderful for my laptop, but is also used by guests for drinks and snacks. I bought a second for a friend as a Christmas gift after she raved about mine.

Sleek design, great value!I love this table! Its sleek and no-nonsense design makes it a wonderful fit with many other pieces of my furniture, and it works great as both a side table and a kind of makeshift desk while sitting on the couch (because it can be rotated to slide under my couch and be perpendicular). Awesome side table!I bought this to complete my work station and I love it!!! I use 2 laptops and keep one on my desk and a second one on this table.
Also when not in use, it slides under my desk for easy out of the way storage. This is an extremely useful and versatile addition to my work space.

Great little tableI bought this to fill a space temporarily, knowing that it's so versatile I'll easily be able to deploy it elsewhere when I find something permanent. Great buyThis is the handiest little table in my house. It gets moved from room to room. It is best for my laptop. But is used for snack in the den while watching tv. It was a great snack table for our superbowl party. I wish I had more. I will have more, because I am purchasing two more! They are great.

Is the anthracite table more gray in color, or black?

How much weight can this table hold?
I need a small table/stand to put my humidifier on. What’s the weight capacity? Trying to figure out if my humidifier with a full tank of water will be too heavy for it. Thanks!

Our C-Table does not have a definitive rating on its weight capacity. It's designed with laptops, books, lamps, magazines, and food service in mind. We do not recommend placing heavier items on the product, such as a humidifier with a full tank; we highly recommend an even weight distribution.
