Great buy!It took a minute to figure out how to install, but I soon figured it out. The shelving unit made such a difference in my garage, as it is now organized and roomy! There is nothing on the cement slab...my next project is my home office, as the garage shelving units have motivated me.

Practical, sturdy, and looks greatWe have a combination casual dining room and office, so I was looking for something that would hold a lot and look good in the room. These shelves easily do both. I also purchased various sizes of Container Store plastic storage boxes to hold everything from my kids markers to placemats for the dining table. They let me organize by category and look great on the shelves. Very happy with this purchase.

Best Organizer EverI went to the Container Store in search of a free standing clothing unit and was working with limited space. I needed a place to hang clothes for my 3 children. The floor associate suggested this unit instead (major difference was that it has no wheels on the bottom which I did not need anyway). We added a basket on the bottem to store my kid's shoes and 2 shelves with poles to hang their clothing. My mom and I assembled the shelves in less than 30 minutes thanks to the in-store assembly demonstration and had everything up and organized in less than an hour. We were extremely proud of ourselves. I plan to purchase more of these shelving units to organize my garage. Remember, it's sturdy, easy to assemble and nice to look at. This is truly the best organizer that I have ever purchased.

Excellent productI have enjoyed this product line for a long time. Then my basement developed a flooding problem and I had to dispose of all of my existing bookshelves. I now have virtually everything downstairs on these shelves with wheels so that I can roll them away from the walls. It makes cleaning easy.

Versatility shelving!I love the black wire shelving. Whenever I get tired of living in my home I change everything around and make it all feel new again. I have other wire shelving, but these intermetro look and feel much nicer than those I purchased elsewhere. I also love all the accessories "The Container Store" carries. I made a really nice media center out of some of my purchase, so now I need to come back for more parts. I plan to intermix my wire shelving and your premium and galvanized cubes. I just love this stuff. I feel like a kid in a toy store.

Best Dorm Item EverI bought this shelving system for my dorm. I didn't have much room in my college dorm, and the Container Store associate recommended that I "think upwards"; so I purchased a 5 foot system and 5 shelves. I also purchased hooks and a basket that goes along with the system for the odds and ends. I could put a lot of stuff on the shelves. It was the best! My friends were all envious of how organized my room was and admired just how much I had brought to college. "Thanks" to the associate who helped me!
What tools do I need for assembly the product? Screwdriver? Hammer? Something else?

A rubber mallet works great to pound down each shelf individually without scratching up the metal coating.
