Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed Excellent Item. Smells great and because of the size can be put anywhere. They little bags can be put in holders in the closet, in drawers, in bins, almost anywhere you want to protect clothes from moths. The addition of lavender is great not such a harsh smell as regular moth balls. October 2, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Smell I should have read the other review before I bought this. It absolutely does not smell like lavender. It smelled so bad I threw it right in the garbage. Couldn't even stand to have it in my house. September 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Effective & less unpleasant odor Really like this product as replacement for ordinary moth prevention. Smells better/works better January 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Working - Takes Time It seems to be keeping the moths away, but it takes some time. We had a moth appear every week. Since we purchased this, we've only seen it appear twice in the past 2 months. It seems to be going away. June 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sachettes They did not have a very strong odor, and that is what I wanted. April 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Effective I had a serious problem with moths and purchased this item to place in garment bags. The smell is not great, but certainly a better alternative to moth balls which did nothing to resolve the problem March 18, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wow are these awful Please only consider purchasing these "sachettes" if you want your cashmere to smell like the old sweaters up in your grandmother's attic. For the love of all that is holy, these are disgusting. Although I placed only one of these in my very large closet less than 12 hours ago, I have been forced to throw them all out and am now left wondering how I will rid my clothing of this smell. I imagine they are, in fact, effective at repelling moths. However, they also repel humans. July 12, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Read carefully I thought I was getting lavendar scents sachettes. I now realize that they contain No-Moth® - the smelly moth ball stuff. I don't smell lavendar at all. At least my clothes will be protected from moths. April 29, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Choice! We have been using these for several years and they are just as effective, yet not as strong with a light scent. And they work! Good alternative if you don't like the stronger scent and want it to last. April 19, 2010

Community Q&A

What are the ingredients that are in these sachettes?
Asked by: SNDE
Paradichchlorobenzene is a chemical used to make mothballs. If you prefer to not use mothballs, you may wish to use a different Container Store product. I think they may sell an "all natural" sachet. Because I'm deathly allergic to cedar I was concerned what paradich- chlorobenzene was in plain English. I looked it up in two reliable sources: both said it's used in mothballs.
