ProKeeper 4 qt. Flour Container is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works! It does hold a 5 lb bag of flour with room to spare. And a good size for my pantry shelf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice container for a 5-gallons of flour Works very well for City purpose. It stores 5 gallons of flour quite well. 5 gallons does make it a bit. So, if you are refilling it and cooking go ahead and take out one or two cups of the flower for your current job and then fill the container

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Containers! I love everything about these containers except one single thing. They are made out of hard plastic, which if you are a little clumsy like I am they will crack a lot easier than the rubbery-type of plastic containers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect flour container This flour DJ tainer is exactly the right size. It’s airtight and has a level. I high recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect flour holder I purchased this container to hold Almond Flour and it is wonderful! I held the Costco size bag of flour, has a leveler rod for getting perfect measurements and it is super easy to open and close! I'm excited to get more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stackable and Air Tight! I now have several of these containers; the flour, sugar, brown sugar and powdered sugar! Because they are airtight and stack nicely I now have a pantry that looks organized! The terra cotta ring in the brown sugar keeper really works and keeps the brown sugar moist! The pour spout on the sugar container is so convenient when you only need to use a small amount! I am using these to store my chocolate chips and so far I am very pleased. I also bought a different round brand (also at the Container Store) to compare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These canisters are really great! Actually, I've bought the flour container, the brown sugar container, the sugar container and the powdered sugar one. They are great in that they seal really well, I can see what's in them and they are stackable. I'll be going back for 2 more flour ones (whole wheat flour & rye flour) and 2 small ones to hold the brown sugar Splenda & the white sugar Spenda. They take up so much less space in my pantry now. I love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love a neat pantry! I just purchased a flour and sugar ProKeeper along with several of the ProKeeper brown sugar containers. The terra cotta disk in the brown sugar container really works! The lids are air tight and the handy leveler on the flour is great, no more trying to find a knife. All of my pantry containers from the Container Store work great together!

Yes. It is airtight and my favorite container. Most come with an accoutrement (for lack of a better word) inside

Can I use this container for rice?

I'm looking for storage for rice, so far this is the biggest I found. Can I store rice on this container? Also, do you have any bigger to store a 25lbs of rice in glass or plastic? Thanks Michelle
Asked by: Mitchie
I think the flour ProKeeper is the largest in that line. You may be able to store more in the decor/tellfresh containers, some of them are quite large. I can’t upload a photo because it would be from this site but the sku# is 10059185 tellfresh is the brand, I think.

Do the containers come with a scoop? I see there is a clip on the lid to hold a scoop.

Asked by: Delys
Some containers come with a scoop, the grain one for example and the coffee one. The flour one comes with a leveler. The sugar one has access through a small pour area also a larger one if I remember correctly and the air-tight opening.

How well does this hold up in the Freezer?

I keep all my flours in the freezer and take them out as needed for baking - some are used every week. Other containers, the latch does not hold up with the cold temps and constant usage.
Asked by: DS1AZ
Our ProKeepers Containers are not deigned for use in the freezer. See our freezer-safe alternative below.
