Once you write on the white part of the sleeve, can you erase it and re-use the files for another project?

I use Brother P-Touch labels. Since the folders are plastic, they can be peeled off and a new label attached.

Are these files open on the ends or are they sealed all around excluding the write on portion?

The side with the write-on tab is open, but the other sides are sealed.
