Great storage boxesGot my storage boxes on time and they arrived in good condition. They were perfect, and I will be buying more. Using them to store taxes, investments, home/insurance documents. Helps being organized, they look good, and fit good in my safe. I will label each box. Just wish they had an area for a label.

Function over beautyWe have bought several of these for friends who have had babies and our own children. It is great that it will hold documents for the duration of their childhood to hold all of the important papers and photos that they collect and hold dear. I will admit they are not the most attractive, I wish they came in another color, even black or white would be nice, but these are the best archival boxes for their size and affordability that we could easily find.

Satisfied!I bought this to store old photos in. It is really sturdy and looks pretty nice. My only issue was that as my husband was putting it together (it does not come assembled), some of the cardboard started to tear a little. But overall, easy assembly. Would recommend!

Looks cheap and clunkyI picked these out online, but when I saw them in person, I did not like them. I'm sure for photo storage purposes, they will protect them, but aesthetically, they were different than the photo. the edges/flap were bulky and stuck out. They just looked a little cheap, so for $25 each, I felt like it wasn't a good buy. I ended up getting 2 "Marten Office Storage Boxes" for the same price as one of these, and I think they look a lot nicer/cooler.

Boxes - sturdy, but not what I expectedThese boxes arrived flat, and needed to be folded into place, like a banker's box - as such, they kind of look like an assembled banker's box -- sturdy and practical, but not good for display on an open shelf. Not that there's anything wrong with that -- it's just not what I expected. They'd be perfect for stashing important papers in a closet or other out-of-the-way place.

Large Photo StoragePurchase these same time I purchased the photo storage boxes to store large 8x10 photos found at mom's after she past away. Also found several old newspapers that had articles that I decided not to throw away. Thought these would be great for those as well.

Terrific protection for documents & moreWe used these to store documents at my job in an archives, & despite 2 massive floods a year apart when pipes burst during January lod snaps, we lost virtually nothing of theitems that were stored in these. They did their job. The document boxes were ruined, as is to be expected, but the irreplaceable material inside - some of it brittle & delicate - was totally safe. Fabulous.

Would purchase againThese are sturdy, easy to assemble boxes. I had ordered one a few years ago and have filled it up with family tree photos and info, and needed to start another one. I purchased the legal size and have found it to be a great size. I am confident that this box will hold up, and would not hesitate to order another, or any of the archival products at your store. I ordered an archival photo album as well.

Great heirloom organization toolOur family has heirloom clothing articles preserved in the archival storage boxes, so it just made sense to purchase the archival document storage boxes as I sort out the important family "paper" keepsakes. These boxes are easy to put together/use and of good quality. The Container Store assists in what would otherwise be a difficult process of sorting/organizing and purging. I highly recommend the archival box line.

I use one of these to store our families memorabilia for the year, ie. concert ticket, special birthday cards, etc. I have the file folders labeled inside of the box corresponding to what type of memorabilia it is so that it's easy to transfer to permanent storage at the end of the year and keep everything organized all year long.

Superb Photo Storing BoxesLove my new silver archival folios. They are sufficiently sized to hold many precious photos of various sizes. I wish it was deeper, but no matter. I bought two and wish I had bought 3 or 4 . Superb for 8 x 10, 11 x 14 and the like. Really wish Container Store would carry archival divider sheets to go with this folio.

I thought these were good until I found betterI thought these were great boxes when I first got them. I store original illustrations in them. However, I ordered some from an art supplier, and now I can say that these are unreasonably bulky, cumbersome and a hassle to put together. I prefer now the kind with metal edges. They arrive already assembled and don't stick when I remove one from a stack.

Best StorageI bought this box for storing my parents old LPs. The box worked so well that I went back for more. They hold up well. It's nice to know that the LPs will stay protected and dust free. The boxes are sturdy.

Great storage optionI bought this to store a large family Bible inherited from Great Aunts. It worked quite well for the oversized book and protects it. The box is very sturdy which was important because this old Bible with early family records in it is an oversized very heavy book. Very good storage option for an excellent price.

i really like these archival boxes. Would like to have some inserts with photo boxes so you could divide up pictures. You have 1,000 pictures with no way to divide them. The envelopes included doesn't do it. I will need to do my own made from acid free paper. I would pay extra to buy some dividers you can put in the photos.

Multiple large scrap / photo albums
I have inherited about 2 dozen very old albums and want to protect them. I can't afford 18 - 20$ per box. Is there any type of larger box that I can place a bunch of them in and save $$?

How many newspaper can i fit in 1 box?

The amount of newspapers that can be stored in our Archival Document Storage Boxes depends on the fullness (number of pages) of the newspaper being stored and the number of times it is folded. Either size box provides approximately 2-3/4" of interior storage height.

Thank you for the response, @ContainerStore. I recommend clarifying the description as it currently states, "It can also be used for magazines, books, photos or folded newspapers." This could be mistakenly interpreted to indicate the box will fit newspapers as they come folded, not requiring additional folds.
