What are the exact inside dimensions of this letter tray? Would it accommodate A4 paper?

The interior dimensions of our Stockholm Stacking Letter Tray is 8-7/8" x 12-1/4" x 2-1/8" h. It does just accommodate A4 (8-1/4" x 11-3/4") size paper.

The other question mentioned stacking 4 of these. What about more than 4? Is there a recommended maximum?
I'm planning to use these to hold different types of printing paper with each tray holding a different reams.

Stacking additional trays requires extra clips. Where do I obtain those?
Each pair of stacking trays appears to come with four clips that go between trays to secure them. If I try to stack four trays high, won't I need more clips than two packages provide? Where do I obtain those extra clips? Would a Container Store have extras available?
