Such a great idea!I love these things! This allows you so much flexibility whether you want to re-name a file, misspell something or just like recycling. While this comes with a small fine-point sharpie, any large felt tip sharpie works & erases just as well!

These work just like they say they do!I bought these to use for labeling hanging files that hold children's work. Because the group of children changes each year, the labels need to change, too. I happily report that the included permanent pen does, in fact erase with the included eraser, leaving the tab blank and ready for the next label. I appreciate having the pen and eraser included in the kit, so that I don't have to worry about using the right kind of pen and eraser.

huge improvementI love labels but hate those little paper inserts you have to use with the plastic sleeve for the typical hanging file folder. These one-piece labels are just as rigid and durable. Difference is you write on them with any permanent marker! Even better, they made it so you can erase and reuse. No more prying the plastic piece open to change the label.
Now if I work on my penmanship... all would be perfect.

Best Idea EVERI'm constantly trying to reduce the amount of actual paper we keep by utilizing digital media. However, paperwork is inescapable! My regular files don't change often, but when they do it so lovely just to erase and rewrite. I no longer have to keep a ziploc bag of file labeling supplies handy or try to cut up card stock to fit the file tab thingies. It's awesome.
The best use of these rewritable tabs though is in my coupon files. I write the Sunday paper's date on the tab, and file the coupons. Obviously, I won't need that tab with that date forever. I just erase and rewrite. Simple.
What color or colors do the folders come in with the starter pack?

Labels, a pen and an eraser make up the starter kit. Folders are not included in the starter kit.

Which side of the Label do you write on?
Feel really silly asking, but which side of the label do you write on? Is it the glossy side or the side that is more paper-like in feeling? Thank You

For the hanging files, both sides feel the same. The labels will angle toward one direction when you put them in though, so I decide which way I want them to go and use that to decide which side to write on.

Can I use COLORED Permanent Sharpie Markers on these labels?
My question pertains to both the Erasable Hanging File Folder Labels and the Erasable Interior File Folder Labels - can I use COLORED Permanent Sharpie Markers on these labels? Will they erase just like the Black Permanent Sharpie Marker?
