Weak magnetsI purchased these to hold papers and receipts on the fridge but the magnets will hold only 1 sheet of paper. They even slide down after a while. I dropped one on the floor and the magnet came out! They work well as clips to close bags and are durable. If you need them to hold papers on a metal surface purchase something else.

Musical clipsI needed more clips for chip bags, salad bags, etc. When my husband and I got home from the Container Store he told me that he needed some clothes pins to hold down his music the next day when his orchestra played at an outdoor venue, and these were the perfect solution! Had I known that he needed something and that we would have the wind, I would have purchased a similar product that was in the shape of a bird.

Need a MUCH Stronger MagnetIf you need to hang more than one sheet of paper I would not buy these. I purchased them to hang the dozens of art projects my kids bring home, and one medium sized painting requires at LEAST two of these clips. For being as large as they are you would think they would have put stronger magnets on them. Two of the clips have significantly weaker magnets than the rest of them. Weird. A waste of money for what I needed them for.

Back for morePerfect clips. I've used some for over a year, and never had one break. They work great to close bags on bread, frozen veggies, chips, cereal, etc. I seem to pick up a new set every time I stop in the Container Store.

I bought the colorful set and although they cling to my fridge, I couldn’t think about putting a bag of chips on the fridge as it slides down. Is the white set stronger?
