Really StrongThese little guys are so strong it's sometimes hard to take them off the Three by Three stainless steel magnetic board (also from The Container Store) I use them on. They are so strong that we also use them to hang keychains with one or two keys on them. Also, they look neat.

Caveat emptorThe pictures are a little misleading; I’d prefer they show the actual size of the product in reference to some known objects, like a penny or a quarter.

Great for displaysI bought 2 packs of these for the various things I post to my refrigerator. I love that they are small and strong--they work well for displaying cards, photos, etc. without being too much decoration themselves. They work well for a minimal design. The only negative is that they are difficult to pick off of the magnetic surface; it is easier to slide them, but that is more damaging.

Excellent ProductI really like it, as the magnets were small, yet strong. I used them on a magnetic board also bought from the container store. The best part about them is that I could use them to attach to things, such as a note, without having it block any of the text on it being blocked (unlike the kitchen magnets that I used to use). However, just a fair warning, it is difficult to take it off the board, as it is so thin that you can't pull it off. For me, the only way is to slide it to the edge so that it is easy to remove.

Worked perfectly to display craft/artI bought these to display origami cranes without piercing them and in a way that could be reconfigured and moved later.
Worked perfectly they are slim to fit into the folds of the paper, but strong to keep them on. Even when the ceiling fan is on high they don't budge.

Very niceThese are perfect for the Umbra magnetic boards. I use them when I need more than the ones that came with the board. These magnets look very elegant with their shiny finish and small size. Considering how small they are, these are amazingly powerful. They are much smaller than the magnets that came with the Umbra board, but to me they look nice with some items using the larger ones and some using these small ones. Don't worry that they won't be strong enough because they are small. They work great.

"Decorating" tip with mighty magnetsWe removed our horizontal mini blinds on our metal door to our balcony (put window film up instead of replacing with blinds) and of course there were holes left from the brackets mounted at top and bottom of window. We used a mighty magnet over each hole and then randomly added a few more mighty magnets around the ones covering the holes and they decorate the four corners of the door nicely...a little sparkle. Looks awesome.

Look great but not so mightyThese magnets have a very slim profile and look great on the magnet board. I have a cat that likes to knock my magnets off the board and now he is not able to. However, they are not so mighty. The fall off easily when moving paper and are very difficult to get off the board but are still strong enough to hold paper up without any issues.

great purchaseI love these little things. My fridge was always covered in huge clunky mismatched magnets from here and there. Most of them weren't strong enough to hold thick things like greeting cards and nice stationary. But these little guys are super strong and now my fridge is orderly and neat. Plus, items don't fly off when you walk by or open the fridge door (which was SO annoying before.)

Strong for the SizeI made a 3ft by 4ft magnetic canvas board for my son's room. Even through the heavy canvas, these little guys work great for holding postcards etc...
Can I glue the mighty magnet dots to an item that i want to make magnetic?
i plan on turning a few Lego pieces into refrigerator magnets.

Chipping or flaking?
Have you experienced any chipping or flaking of the metal coating? This can be a problem with other magnets, and I wondered how these are holding up.
Also, do you find it hard to grip them to remove them?

We have no reports from customers of the finish of our Mighty Magnets flaking or chipping. Because of their strength, they do hold securely and can hold several pieces of paper or a greeting card with ease.
