Works GreatI bought the 2 and 4 inch strips both, but in hindsight the 2 inch is all you need unless you're going to run them front to back and none going across. All I used was the 2 inch strips. My husband did all the measuring and installing. He said it was very easy to snap and apply. We liked them so well and had enough left over after doing 4 kitchen drawers that he did his drawer in the master bath. This is the best our drawers have ever been organized. Everything has a place and no tools getting tangle with other tools.

Good but one thing...These strips are a great way to customize drawer organization at a reasonable price. However, they work best when they touch all four sides of the drawer. Otherwise, they can bow and bend and not stay in place. I did one drawer where they only touched three of the sides (I left the back of the drawer open for larger items) and these dividers did not hold in that drawer. I even tried super-gluing them to the bottom of the drawer and they still did not hold in place. Ideally, the anchors should have stronger glue on them and you really have to measure very precisely in order for them to work perfectly. I do like them in my other drawers, though, where they are secured better by pushing against each other from all four sides of the drawer.

Terrible Solution for KitchenI bought a pack of these 2" drawer organizer strips and was so excited to get to make a custom configuration for my utensil drawer in the kitchen. I've been sorely disappointed since the moment I installed them. I used the adhesive provided in the kit and the mount pieces don't stay in place. I added GorillaGlue and even that hasn't held up. I think the force of opening and closing this utensil drawer so frequently has put too much force on these strips. I'm constantly repositioning the pieces and frustrated to see my utensils sliding everywhere in the drawer.
These may be great for drawers that don't get a lot of use or for containing only a few items. For me, the amount I'm trying to contain has overpowered the strips and resulted in a big mess.

Didn't hold upSpent a long time measuring, cutting, placing just right in silverware drawer. Lived the customization...until I noticed shifting. The adhesive holders do not stick well to the clean, wooden cabinet drawer at all. Not just one or 2, all of them shifted or came off altogether. What a waste of time and money. So frustrated.

Nice Idea But Didn't LastI was really optimistic about this product, and I'm really disappointed it hasn't worked out for me. I'm about four months into using them, and they have not held up at all. Within a few weeks, I noticed that the utensils were pushing the strips around and out of their guards. And now, the adhesive has completely stopped working and I'm constantly reattaching the guards and replacing the strips. Will be going back to the clunky organizers I was trying to avoid in the first place...

Great for Narrow DrawersI bought these dividers about one month ago when I moved into a new apartment with very narrow drawers (only 7.5" wide!!!). These were a very cost effective way for me to divide my silverware exactly how I wanted it to be. I am definitely not a handy person, but I was able to create 6 perfectly-sized compartments with just an exacto knife and this kit. The adhesive on the anchors is strong enough to stick to the walls of a frequently used drawer, but I was also able to remove and reapply the anchors without any trouble if I didn't quite line things up right. I highly recommend this product!

Totally customizableAwesome! My drawer is alittle over 3" tall so I used the 2" custom drawer organizer strips to organize strips below and the Linus expandable drawer organizer on top to organize our bathroom drawers. The Linus expandable drawer organizer slides forward and back to allow access to contents below. Now everything has a place.
Just measure properly to make sure it fits the first time-it a bit of a pain to shave off extra length if you make it too long.

Amazing Product, Challenging AdhesiveI purchased these and had no issues cutting them by scoring it 3 times and giving it a good snap near the score line. I broke almost right away and it was a clean break.
I tried this first in the silverware drawer since it is smaller then I could purchase anything for otherwise. The weight of the silverware did prove to be a problem and the adhesive did fail multiple times. Just out of a college resourcefulness or a want for a solution I decided to put half of a tiny command strip on the back and ever since I have had no issues with slippage.
The adhesive is an issue and snapping can be hard but try the command strips and score with a straight edge and a lot of force.

Nice organizing solutionThis organizer worked well in one of my drawers used for kitchen utensils. I like how it can be customized for the specific items in your drawer and there is no wasted space. It did take a little bit of time to assemble and it took me a few times to get the measurements right. Once I mastered the installation though, it was worth the effort.

Only Well Engineered Dividers AvailableThese dividers are the only ones that can be custom cut to exactly fit any drawer. They look clean and neat and work perfectly. I cannot find these anywhere else. I will definitely be back to get more. Expensive but worth the price if you are into organization.

This is fabulous! I have been struggling for years trying to organize my utensil/silverware drawers with very little success using the expanding organizers. This product allows me to custom organize them! It's super easy to use and the results are instantaneous. The hardest part for me was determining HOW to organize my drawers. Thank you Container Store for carrying this product. I will be ordering a few more sets in the near future!

Mediocre at BestI purchased multiple sets of these thinking they would be perfect for my extra-wide kitchen drawers. I spent the better part of a weekend measuring, scoring, and installing them, only to be disappointed when the adhesive on the stops did NOT hold. I spent the better part of the next day trying to hot glue the stops into place, but even that didn't work much longer than a week. Finally, I had to remove them, and search for a better option.

Good idea, bad execution.These looked like a great idea to manage the number or kitchen gadgets I have, rather than toss them willy-nilly into a drawer like I've always done. Sadly, this was not the case.
You are given no instructions at all on how to use these besides 'score and snap!'. Scoring them takes a good hobby knife (don't go for your kitchen knife, it'll ruin the edge) or maybe a box cutter to get a good score, and you have to go around both sides AND the edges. With this done, it was still hard to get it to snap. Once it did snap the sheets were bent out of shape.
I think I could have made something easier and better looking with some balsa wood from the hobby store, especially for the price.

Easy to UseI got a place with skinny drawers in the kitchen so could not use my silverware divider, this is a great option, I attached the end pieces, scored the long piece at the length I needed and snapped it off and divided my drawers up. I love the organization it gives me. No more clutter

Go for it!These dividers are fabulous! So customizable! I want to show everyone my "junk" drawer now! I did use a metal file for grooving the dividers a bit before snapping them off. Don't forget to account for the extra 1/4 inch that the attachment pieces take up!

I used these dividers to create an organized silverware drawer and maximize utility in a space that was too narrow for any other option I've come across. These dividers are perfect- very easy to install and get to the desired length. I still have some left over and will definitely use them again as the need arises.

Stay awayI was so excited to buy these because of their versatility. They do "snap" with a bit of effort. But your measurements need to be *exact* otherwise they won't work. I tried cutting/snapping an entire package and got so frustrated that I threw them out and returned the other package. So my advice is ... use with extreme caution.

Great product!I have a small drawer in my "coffee station" that I use for my T-discs. They were just laying in there and the drawer could only hold a few discs. Enter the Drawer Organizer Strips (which are VERY easy to install!) and my storage has increased ten-fold! I'm thrilled with my coffee storage drawer now!

Worst purchase everI didn't want to put a star for the rating, but apparently I had to. I have a very skinny drawer in my kitchen and decided to use it as my cutlery drawer so I needed dividers. I should never have bought these. They stuck for a few days and now only stick for a few hours at a time. They have taken the paint off the inside of the drawer. These were a terrible purchase. I think the tension type dividers would have worked much better.

I looked everywhere for the perfect option......and found it here! These work great and were fairly easy to install. It does take patience and careful measuring, but the end result is a fully customized drawer(s) that has sections that are exactly the right size for your stuff. They seem sturdy enough to hold up, although I haven't had them that long. I will be buying more for additional drawers!

like a magazine!I'm totally in love with these snappable adjustable drawer sorters. They turned my disastrous catch-all drawer into one that looks like it's from Real Simple magazine. DisappointingI had the same problem many reviewers had -- they just didn't stay in place. I followed the directions carefully, measured and cut precisely, and made sure I was sticking the ends onto clean surfaces.
The ends seemed to stick a bit better onto the dividers, so maybe it wasn't designed to stick to wood, even if the wood is finished & smooth. It's possible the ends would stick better on metal or plastic.
For me, it was a hassle and wasted time & money, and I've thrown them out. I loved the idea, but they just didn't work for me.
I've previously purchased the 3" version of this. Is it no longer offered? I see only a 2" and 4".

Is there a deeper version of these for dresser drawers?
Without having to stack them. My dresser drawers are 7" deep. A 6" deep version would be great.

Can the mounts be used with Command strips instead of the provided adhesive, to ensure they can be removed without causing damage?

You could, yes, though it might be less secure. It would look like this: Drawer wall, sticky layer of Command Strip, Command Strip, stick layer #2 of Command Strip, sticky layer of mount, mount, divider sitting in the mount. Additionally, the sizes don't fully line up, so you'd either be spending a lot of time trimming the Command Strips or they would get dust and grime attaching to their exposed edges.

Yes. But, you score and "snap" them. You don't cut them with a scissor.
