UnusableI was unable to use the product. You have to use a Phillips screwdriver to adjust this for your desk. However, the screw was so tight that I was unable to loosen it. I even tried an electric drill to try to loosen the screw. I will be returning this to the store. There has to be another way to adjust this to make it user friendly.

Great Simple AccessoryI've been looking for an affordable headphone stand for my dorm room, and this was a great, simple alternative. I haven't tried to have it hold up anything heavy (like a backpack yet) but it does the job so far, as it also includes a second, backward-facing hook. The only downside I'd have to say is that it does not feature a simple tightening mechanism; you need a traditional Philips-head screwdriver to tighten this so that it doesn't swivel from being loose. Other than it's a cheap, space-saving alternative to a headphone stand!
I would not recommend using the product for more than five pounds. I tested with two different weights: the product handles five pounds well (tested w/ a backpack with only a laptop and cables in it); twenty-five pounds would definitely break the product (tested w/ a kettle bell). So, five pounds was tolerated and the product breaks in the six to twenty-five pound range.
tl;dr it was designed to hold headphones so not much.
