Perfect for disguising your chaosI love these boxes - I think we have about twenty of them. They're the only way I've found to make heaps of boxes look classy. They fit perfectly on 8" Elfa shelves (provided you aren't using a backstop) and are ideal for corralling all kinds of chaos. We've got them for medical/first aid stuff/rarely used cosmetic and bath items by the bathroom, accessories like mittens and hats by the door out, tea storage in the kitchen, gadgets with their chargers and cords in the living room, and knitting and crafty stuff galore. (They're an especially nice size for card-making.) Bonus: If you're into shifting your stuff around seasonally, you can get extra labels for other sides of the boxes - swap out the contents, rotate the box and boom!

Love these!These are the perfect size to hold all my photos and they look great on my shelves! They hold a ton of pictures and can be used for CDs as well. I purchased them in white so I could add color elsewhere in my shelves.

So UsefulI use these for gift boxes. It is so easy--just use a fun color and tie a festive bow around it. I save on wrapping paper and cardboard gift boxes, and the recipient gets both the gift inside and a wonderful storage tool for after the occassion. Especially nice for baby showers.

Great SizeI have many of these boxes holding years and years of photos. I keep them organized chronologically..... I am all for organization and these are great.
The Stockholm Photo Storage Boxes are not acid-free, but they do keep light from getting to your photos, and light is the main contributor to photo discoloration.
If you would prefer to keep your photos in an acid- and lignin-free box that also protects from light and dust, we recommend one of our Archival Photo Storage Boxes (link below).

Better space saving dimensions
I honestly have too many photos to use 8 1/4" width for 3X5 or 4X6 photos, because I'll need multiple boxes on the shelf. Is there a narrower option?

Is the Navy color and texture the same on the Bisgo Stockholm and Marten boxes?

The texture and color differ on each. But they are both made of the same material content: (74%)- fibreboard (24%)- wibalin (2%)- metal parts.

What are the interior dimensions of these boxes?
I understand they can fit up to 4x6 photos and cannot fit 5x7 without squishing them as the inner dimensions would be less than 5", but I have greeting cards would stand 4 5/8" with packaging—am wondering how much room is on the inside of the box and if these could accommodate the cards?
