Rated 3 out of 5Â by Skarr Not too bright
As far as the motion sensor goes, it works great but isn't nearly as bright as I was hoping for it to be

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ShaSha527 I love it.
When I ordered this I said I'm going to send it back I don't need it. I am so glad I didn't. I love opening my closet door and.... "I have light". There is no delay with the motion sensor. I have 2 of them and placed on both sides of the closet wall. The only thing I wish it was brighter, that is why I gave 4 stars. But all in all I am very happy with this product. Especially my boyfriend who does not have to complain about me turning the light on while he is sleeping

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BatcrazySA Useful light
I have purchase five of the so far. I have one mounted in the garage so now I don't have to turn on/off the overhead light when getting into and out of my car.
I have several out back in verious places. It's been fun for the grandchildren to see the night animals when they come to prowl.
The little lights are bright. They stay on for about 20 to 30 seconds after a movement activates them. I did what Botanicalsa suggested and use rechargeable batteries.
I've had a couple if them outdoors for over a year now with no mechanical problems.

First negative review. Purchased three and only one worked. When I returned them at the store, the employee opened a new package with new batteries. When assembled, it did not work. He said he would inform the manufacturer.

This little light puts out lots of light. Works in dim light unlike some
other products that require darkness. Very useful in the closet. I recommend this light to anyone needing light in hard to light areas.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by CompassionateCare Versatile safety device for caregivers
I had been looking for a battery operated motion detector light as a safety measure for patients with Alzheimers/dementia who are living 'at home' in the care of family -- something that could be mounted easily anywhere, particularly in hallways and bathrooms to help patients find their way at night. This sensor light is perfect for this application - particularly in older homes where electrical outlets aren't always available where they are needed. It also comes packaged with an optional magnetic mount so it can be stuck to a refrigerator or any metallic surface. The unit can be easily slipped out of the mounting bracket and used as an emergency flashlight if needed. The ability to aim the light is also a useful feature.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by DesignObsessed Bright and well made but turns off quickly
I'm sorry to give this light only 2 stars because I'd give it 5 if it would stay on. It's far brighter than similar lights I've tried, and it's great that you can direct the light. But it only stays on for a few seconds, not nearly long enough for me to find anything in the closet! To get it to go back on you have to wave your hand directly in front of it, and in a closet that is NOT convenient (where would it be?).

Rated 2 out of 5Â by mollie OK but not as advertised
This is a good night light, but it doesn't work to "add more light" to areas that are dark. I bought this for the back of my long, narrow walk-in closet, whose light is near the door. I could really use some light at the back. But this light does not go on if the main closet light is on, and if I wait until the light goes on, it turns itself off when I turn on the main light. The motion sensor is such that if we walk by the closet in the middle of the night, in the dark, the light goes on, and it seems very bright at that time. Overall, a disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Clarendon Great for stairways
We have a stairwell that doesn't have any electrical outlets (so can't use a traditional nightlight). This product works perfectly. We mounted it at the top of the stairwell, and it is bright and illuminates a huge area. You can adjust the direction of the light. It's motion activated, and also has a light sensor, so it won't go on during the day. I also bought a smaller unit that is motion activated, but it doesn't have the light sensor, so I need to turn it off every morning, and back on at night. IMHO, this one is worth the extra cost to avoid having to do that. I do wish that the light were a little dimmer. I keep lecturing the kids not to look at it, or it will hurt their eyesight. It's definitely "ultra-bright", as the description states.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Botanicalsa We love this little light. Very bright.
Just purchased this for an outdoor covered porch aiming down onto the steps out to the deck. It's not listed as use for outdoors but we've do have it under cover and it isn't facing the sun which might cause clouding of the sensor over time.
We are going to use "rechargeable batteries" in it because we have the feeling it will use up regular type batteries as the output is very bright.
Couldn't be happer with this light at this point.
