 by containerstorecustomer8 It works!
Ideally, you need two people to install so the line isn't crooked. Takes maybe 25-30 minutes tops. Otherwise, the photo speaks for itself. The photo was taken after the clothes dried over night. Huge thumbs up. Great purchase for apartment living.

I love this. I have a small apartment and find my laundry day takes over my bedroom and bathroom with wet clothes laying out and drying everywhere. I went to the container to store to actually buy a drying rack. I saw this and Bam perfect. Now I just have this hanging between my bedroom and bathroom. Such a great space saver than buying one of those big drying racks. Love Love Love it.

I had been needing a retractable clothes line for a couple of years and finally remembered to look for one online and I love this one! It was easy to install and it holds many of my shirts that can't be put in the dryer! I love that when it's not being used it's hardly even noticed and out of the way!

This clothesline is GREAT in my small laundry room. It was easy to install, very practical & looks nice yet fairly unnotiable when not in use.

perfect installed in our rental apartment - we have no w/d, so this is helpful for travelers with small amounts of laundry.

I didn't want a clothes rack stealing floor space, or a bulky rack jutting out from the wall. I came across this clothesline for less than fifteen dollars, online and made one mine. I believe I installed the wall pieces unevenly is relation to each other, which may be why the line sags so easily in the middle. The quality of the wall pieces and line are just fine, and it comes with screws. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

"Chrome-plated finish" might lead you to believe that you're getting something made of stainless steel or some other sort of metalâ¿¿especially given that the description also states "resists rust."
The last time I checked PLASTIC DOES NOT RUST chrome "plated" finish or not.
So, buyer beware. What you'll receive is a nylon clothesline housed in a dinky, brittle, plastic enclosure.

I don't like the shiny silver color against my wall. It would be great if it came in white - the silver really stands out. It looks like a fire bell in a fire station.

For less than the price of dry cleaning for one blouse, I purchased the retractable clothesline and installed it over my bathtub.
I live in a tiny NYC apartment and the laundry service nearby is overpriced and doesn't do a great job. Now I am able to hand wash and hang dry my clothes on this handy little line and save myself the headache.
It is surprisingly strong and sturdy for the thickness of the nylon string. It comes with hardware and it was easy to firmly attach this to the wall. This is one of my best purchases ever.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by jmac great for small spaces
I have been looking for something like this for a while...we have a small house and even a drying rack would take up too much space...we have a serious lack of storage space. So putting this "in" our shower is a great option. Plus, while I have clothes or delicates drying, I can close the shower curtain and it is out of sight. The line retracts great and it is very easy to mount. Would recommend!
