Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for the price I have three of these that I use for cat training. They're sturdy. I've never tried putting anything but water in them, so I don't know how easy they are to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Buy! I found this product after years of using unknown plastic type of spray bottle for my homemade vegetable and fruit pre-cleaning solution. I can use both lemon juice, vinegar with baking soda ingredients to prefill four of these aluminum bottles with solution. I love that these twist off/on and won't leak onto the shelves of refrigerator door. I simply grab for quick use to spray onto strawberries (for example) to remove pesticides and dirt residues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Extremely Classy, but it doesn't spray a mist I bought this spray bottle to fill with cleaning solution, and I thought it was perfect because it was classy enough to leave out in a bathroom with limited storage space. Unfortunately, the functionality isn't as stunning as its looks. When cleaning, I tend to lightly dampen a rag with the cleaning solution by misting it through a spray bottle. This spray bottle doesn't mist: it shoots with the precision of a laser beam. And it outputs a lot of liquid for a single squeeze. For some applications, that's actually perfect. Unfortunately, for most it just leaves me with a lot more liquid than I want in a very concentrated location.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great I use it at my kitchen sink and fill it with a little dish soap and dilute with water. It works great and looks nice in my black, white and charcoal kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I love this spray bottle. I have two now, one for homemade cleaning solution, and one for homemade starch. I do wish it came in a bigger size. It works great. I have not had any problems with it at all. I would definately buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little spray bottles I got these since they were minimal plastic and I could put non-chemical cleaners in them, like vinegar. I love them. They work great. I want to get more for things like olive oil. I just need to get a label maker!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality, long lasting product. I love this spray bottle. I originally purchased it 10+ years ago and it was a trooper. My only disappointment is that they're currently back-ordered (when my original finally gave up the ghost).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strong Spray, Not Soft Diffused I wanted this to spray a light mist on clothes when ironing. Unfortunately, there is no adjustment to the spray and it comes out very strong, leaving a big wet spot on the shirt. So, if you want it for the laundry, don't get this one. If you would like a strong sprayer for cleaning, then this would be appropriate.

Community Q&A

Is this aluminum bottle lined with plastic on the inside?

Asked by: SeattleBernadette
I do not know if the lining is plastic, but there is a 'coating' on the inside of these aluminum bottles. If you look inside and catch light at the bottom of the bottle just right you can see what appears to be some type of lining. When I first got my bottles I noticed it, but could not find a way to remove it. I used vinegar and soaked a test bottle to see if that would remove it, but, alas, nothing came off/out. I did not want to try any other type of chemical (bleach, for example), because that is exactly what I am trying to avoid. However, in the course of using these bottles for my essential oil mixes, my oregano and tea tree oils seem to have eroded the 'lining' little by little, and were clogging the sprayer to the point of breaking. (I lost several bottles until I figured out what to do.) In order to keep the sprayers from breaking, when I notice any resistance with the spray mechanism, I check the tubing, and untwist and take off the very tip of the nozzle/sprayer and clean any of the goo/lining that has worn off from inside. The tip of the nozzle itself is the hardest to clean. In order to get the film out of the nozzle itself, I use a dental gums cleaner that has little tiny 'bristles' that captures the lining and helps to draw it out of the nozzle cap. I make sure to flush the tubing and sprayer head with clean filtered water to remove any further residue. A side note: I ALWAYS use filtered water in these spray bottles. Whether you have municipal or well water, there is always some level of minerals, and or other undesirable chemicals (fluoride, chlorine), that I don't want mixed with my essential oils mixes. Regular tap water never fails to leave streaking and or film behind. For those interested, information on your local city water supplies can be obtained by a report on municipal water treatments via EWG, and/or your city utility/water department websites. If you have to, you can always formally request the data/report(s) - it is 'public information' and every citizen has a 'right' to view the data/information. People find their not only their sprayers clogging, but their appliances (like humidifiers, misters, etc.) also. This has to do with what is 'in' the water. ALWAYS use filtered water! Your sprayers and appliances will last a lot longer if they are well cared for.
