Fabulous ironing boardWe live in a small space and this is so much easier to use than opening up a full-size ironing board. I just set it up on top of our washing machine and do a quick iron of whatever needs a bit of pressing before I wear it. Very handy and nicely designed!

LightweightDue to my affinity for all things compact, I appreciate the concept yet I would have preferred if it was sturdier. I've been unable to find a table top ironing board similar to one purchased by my Stepmom. It's a table top replica of the heavy, dated full size boards complete with a thick pad, iron rest & over-the-door hanger - perfect for storage & use in a bedroom.

well-made, great valueI gave my old-fashioned ironing board away and needed a replacement, but a smaller one that I could store easily. This is perfect. It wobbles just a little but if you put a coaster or magazine under one side, the wobble goes away. It doesn't move around at all because there are little rubber grips on the bottom. Highly recommended!

Just the right size and functionI'm in a small apartment now. This is just the right size which still lets me handle shirts, trousers, etc. I like the iron rest quite a bit. Now that I've got it to open and use, I'm happy w/ the construction and the fold-downablility.
AND I knew if I wasn't happy w/ all that Container Store would take it back w/o a fuss.
Con - the padding is not very thick but then, it often isn't of regular boards and either cutting an old towel to form or just using one folded on the board to iron would be adequate. The mesh metal frame/board is the IMPORTANT things (vs particle board)..and this item has that.
